They are doing it in order to defeat a mysterious intruder who threatens the lives of the inhabitants of the realm. The game takes place in a three-dimensional environment and the player takes control of the aforementioned snake. The protagonist’s movement was recreated in a pretty realistic way. It means that, for example, he cannot jump, but instead he crawls along the ground, wraps around objects and swims. All of these actions must be used in order to defeat various obstacles and to find well hidden collectibles. In some situations the friendly hummingbird helps the snake by catching him by his tail and transporting to seemingly unavailable places.

Overall, the gameplay mechanics did not change much, however, this time the game features the view from the guitarist’s eyes, whereas cartoonish characters gave way to authentic musicians and crowds resembling real audience. Guitar Hero Live supports a new version of guitar controller with 6 buttons in two rows, imitating the real instrument even better. As always, the game lets you adjust difficulty level to your skills. Unfortunately, unlike rivaling Rock Band 4, Guitar Hero Live is not compatible with tracks purchased for previous games.
Arcade 24 February 2015
Very unique two-dimensional platformer from the independent developer PlayDead. We play as a small boy who sets on dangerous journey to save his sister. He traverses surrealistic landscapes, coming across many deadly traps and running away from monstrous spider, which follow him tirelessly. In terms of gameplay, Limbo borrows from classic platform titles, though not without adding a few original features. The games revolves around advanced physics, which plays crucial role in most puzzles and arcade sequences, during which the players must display quick reflexes. What stands out the most, however, is Limbo’s unique, mysterious and grim atmosphere, mainly coming from its audiovisuals. Sparse use of sound and graphics, consisting only of shades of black and white, makes it look like a work of a movie expressionist from the beginning of 20th century.
