Featuring a top-down view, the game tasks us with exploration of randomly generated levels of the temple.

The game constitutes a mixture of genres, for it combines various old-school mechanics in order to construct an experience that feels fresh. Exploration resembles dungeon crawlers from the 80s and the first half of the 90s.

The creators brought both an adequate visual style and a fitting soundtrack, but they also limited the aspect ratio to 4:3 for example.

We play as a neophyte wizard who enters the titular ziggurat in order to prove his worth and earn the right to be called a powerful sorcerer. We will have to explore the building's many rooms, where we will encounter all kinds of enemies and traps. Our hero uses three types of magic: blue, orange, and green. Each of them is represented by spell books, staves, and objects we can simply throw.
