RPG 28 October 2008

The third installment in the popular series of post-apocalyptic cRPGs. Bethesda Softworks, best known for The Elder Scrolls series, took the reins of the production. The main story arc focuses on the search for our character’s father. During the journey, the main protagonist, called the Lone Wanderer, learns of Project Purity, which could provide water for the inhabitants of the Wasteland.

The fourth major installment in a popular cyberpunk action-RPG series. The game was developed by Eidos Montreal, who previously developed two other parts of the cycle, as well as the 2014 reboot of the cult Thief franchise. The game is set 2 years after the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The player again assumes the role of an Interpol agent, Adam Jensen, who fights criminal organizations in different parts of the world.

The third installment in a series of cyberpunk action games with RPG elements. The franchise was launched in the year 2000 by Ion Storm, led at the time by Warren Spector. The reactivation of the series was made possible by the Eidos Montreal studio. Story-wise, the game is a prequel to the original series, taking us back to the year 2027, when Sarif Industies only begins to explore the possibilities of biomechanical augmentation of the human body.

A cyberpunk first-person perspective action RPG developed by Ion Storm, studio led by the legend of the video game industry, Warren Spector – co-creator of such cult series as Ultima and Wing Commander. Deus Ex takes place in the middle of XXI century, in a world filled with terrorism, corruption, poverty and a mysterious disease called the Gray Death.

A debut project of Flagship Studios, whose founders were employees of Blizzard North, creators of Diablo II, among others. No wonder that the game was created in the atmosphere of the legendary Diablo, combining elements of shooters and RPG.

RPG 24 March 2009

Second extension of the DLC to the third part of Fallout. This time the player can go to post-nuclear Pittsburgh, controlled by slave hunters. This plugin offers previously unknown weapons, armor, items, achievements and percussion. The whole thing is enough for about 2-3 hours of fun.

RPG 03 August 2009

The fifth DLC extension to Fallout 3, which allows players to go into space and explore the title, a huge alien ship. During the mission, the hero can use new weapons as well as put on previously unknown armour. NPC characters help us in our adventure - both completely new and those already known from the past.

The last large DLC pack included in the season pass for the 2015 post-apocalyptic role-playing action game Fallout 4 by Bethesda. Nuka World does not introduce any major changes in the audiovisual layer or the mechanics, focusing on a new storyline and featuring a brand new location with an expansive main quest and many side quests. Nuka World is set in an old amusement park, built before the war by the producers of the most popular post-apocalyptic beverage, Nuka Cola.

Fourth official extension to Fallout 3. This time we go to the swamps, fighting new types of opponents and completing ten extensive quests. The add-on focuses on exploring and searching for secrets in a new environment, offering dozens of different locations to visit.

The missing link is the first stand-alone addition to Deus Ex: Human Revolt. Players have the opportunity to discover more layers of conspiracy and find out what happened to the main character during Adam Jensen's three-day trip from Hengsha to Singapore.

Continuation of highly rated, cyberpunk action RPG from Ion Storm studio from year 2000. The action of the game takes place 20 years after events known from the original, when the world is slowly rising after the global economic disaster. We play as a cadet of the elite Tarsus academy who gets involved in the middle of the conflict between powerful corporations and terrorist organizations, each of which sees the future of the new world in its own way.

Utopia: City is the work of Russian developers from Parallax Art Studios, responsible for Liquidator. The game represents a genre of first-person shooters with RPG elements and its plot resembles a little bit the main Matrix theme.

RPG 27 January 2009

The first extension of the DLC to the third part of the Fallout takes players to Alaska and offers the opportunity to face the Chinese military forces. The add-on offers four short missions, focusing primarily on combat. He also introduces a large set of weapons and armour.

The third extension to the famous postapocalyptic game Fallout 3, produced by Bethesda Softworks. The action refers to the main plot from the basic version of the game and tells about the fate of the Steel Brotherhood fighting a war with a ruthless enclave.

First official DLC supplement to Fallout: New Vegas. Dead Money introduces new locations, enemies and skills and raises the maximum level of character development. The expansion plot revolves around the story of the Sierra Madre casino and its treasury.

RPG 17 May 2011

The second extension to the famous postapocalyptic game Fallout: New Vegas, produced by Obsidian Entertainment in collaboration with Bethesda Softworks. The action of the supplement tells the story of an expedition to the unknown areas of the Zion national park in Utah, which ends unfortunate for our hero. To escape from the heat, we will travel through new terrains, get to know new characters, defeat completely new enemies, and gain new wrecks and levels of experience.

RPG canceled

The Sun is a post-apocalyptic game by Ukrainian studio EGProject, blending RPG mechanics with FPS elements. The story takes place several hundred years in the future, on Earth, which has been destroyed by disastrous beams of solar energy and radiation. You play as person raised by former shelter dwellers, who decided to rebuild the human civilization. The game utilizes the first person's view and features an open world.

The fifth DLC pack for Fallout 4 by Bethesda Softworks, another installment of one of the most famous RPG series in the world. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world, slowly rebuilding after a devastating nuclear war. Fallout 4: Vault-Tec, similar to the previously released Workshop and Contraptions DLC packs, features new content for the more crafty players. The expansion focuses on the building of underground bunkers, called vaults in-universe.

The first DLC for Fallout 4, Bethesda's action RPG that came out in November, 2015. The expansion introduces a new storyline connected to the mysterious Mechanist who unleashed an army or hostile robots, led by the cunning machines known as Robobrains, upon the Commonwealth. As one might guess, the player’s task is to deal with the new mechanical enemies whose appearance had also created an opportunity to expand on some of the gameplay mechanics.

The third in turn and the first major DLC for the fourth entry in the cult post-apocalyptic franchise, Fallout. In Fallout 4: Far Harbor, we take on a case from Valentine’s Detective Agency. Following the trail of a missing girl, the protagonist leaves the Commonwealth and finds himself on a heavily irradiated island on which the eponymous coastal town is located.

An official DLC that expands the plot of the 2010’s BioShock 2 by 2K Games. The action of the expansion takes place at the same time as the events of the original. In Minerva’s Den, we assume the role of a completely new character, who joined forces with the original’s Brigid Tenenbaum, and visit previously unknown locations in the underwater city of Rapture, uncovering mysteries of its new governor and filling up some missing pieces of the plot of BioShock 2.

Fourth extension to the postapocalyptic game RPG Fallout: New Vegas, in which we visit Divide canyons destroyed by hurricanes and earthquakes. The main character of the add-on is a courier named Ulysses, who gives the hero an important task.

Deus Ex: Anthology is a set of three games signed with the logo of the British corporation Eidos Interactive. The package consists of two parts of Deus Ex series by Ion Storm group and tactical shooting Project: Snowblind by Crystal Dynamics team.

A story expansion for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, a first-person action RPG released in summer 2016 by Eidos Montreal. A Criminal Past requires the vanilla game in order to work. Mechanics-wise, the DLC doesn’t introduce any meaningful changes to the gameplay. Plot-wise, it is a prequel whose action takes place before the events of the core game and is focused on one of the secret missions that the protagonist, Adam Jensen, took on for Task Force 29.
