The story picks up after the events of the previous game and focuses on several plotlines, including Geralt’s lost love, invasion of the Nilfgaard Empire on the Northern Kingdoms, as well as the eponymous, spectral hunt.

This new edition was created by Night Dive Studios, known for the 2015's enhanced edition of the same game. System Shock Remake recreates the original story, taking the player to the Citadel space station.

In contrast to the aforementioned Gothic, Elex is set in a dark post-apocalyptic universe that combines elements of both science-fiction and fantasy and where technology meets magic. A free-to-play online action-RPG designed for the Asian market by the South Korean studio Tripod. The game is set in a fantasy realm, whose people managed to avoid an invasion of evil thanks to the titular Ark. After years of peace, the leader of demonic legions, Kazeroth, tries to use the artifact to take over the world. The players have to find it and prevent the imminent disaster. The game employs isometric camera in gameplay, resembling such classic hits as Diablo or Torchlight.

BioWare Montreal, the development studio that helped create the two previous installments took the reins of Mass Effect: Andromeda's development. The game's story is not associated with the trilogy about Commander Shepard's fight against the Reapers, offering instead a completely separate plot featuring new characters and locations.
