Simulation 02 March 2010

The fifth installment in one of the most popular WWII submarine simulation game series. In Silent Hunter 5 you are sent to the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, where, as the commander of a German U-boat VII, you hunt down the ships of the Allies. There is a dynamic campaign to complete, and your actions, victories and losses affect its outcome. It's worth noting that the campaign also includes historical naval battles.

Simulation May 2024 (early access since 30 April 2019)

An open world submarine simulator created in Poland by Deep Water Studio. The game takes place during World War II and the player assumes the role of a captain of a German submarine who completes various missions inspired by historical events. Mechanics of UBOOT combine the features of Silent Hunter and Fallout Shelter and the main task of the player is to take care of the crew. One must consider physical and emotional limitations of his subordinates, assign functions to them etc.

Silent Hunter III is the third installment in the World War II submarine simulator series. In comparison with the previous game, Ubisoft implemented many changes and improvement in Silent Hunter III, with modern 3D visuals that render the game in a rather realistic way. The game offers us four types of U-boots in ten different development versions. All interiors and onboard devices (we can use all of them) are rendered in 3D with highest attention to detail.

Simulation 05 June 2017

A mix of simulation and strategy game developed by the independent studio Killerfish Games. The plot is loosely based on Tom Clancy’s works, telling an alternative version of history, in which the Cold War eventually turned into World War III. The player assumes the role of a submarine captain and tries to stop the Soviet Union’s plans to establish an outpost in Scandinavia. Mission objectives focus on fighting enemy naval and land units, preventing sea landings, and raiding convoys.

Silent Hunter II: WWII U-Boat Combat Simulator is a continuation of the 1996 submarine simulation. The production of the game was taken care of by the Ultimation studio team. Players have the opportunity to take on the role of captain u-bot and take part in the famous battle for the Atlantic from the period of World War II. The creators took care of realistic impressions of commanding a submarine, in which consultations with Admiral Eric Topp were helpful.

Silent Hunter IV: Wolves of the Pacific studio Ubisoft is another part of a series of marine simulators, collecting very high ratings, both among players and critics. This time, sea wolves, fans of underwater hunting for armored animals, move to the Pacific Ocean.

Simulation 2025

A simulation game, in which we command a Gato-type submarine. Silent Depth 2: Pacific is set in the Pacific Ocean, during World War II, tasking the player with patrolling the area and eliminating enemy units.

Wolfpack is a cooperative submarine simulator. A group of five players plays the crew of a German submarine during World War II. Each of them has different duties, which he performs manually by manipulating the on-board instruments.

AquaNox is a continuation of the futuristic submarine simulator Archimedean Dynasty, published in 1997. The action of the game was set in the XXVII century, and the player plays Emerald "Dead Eye" Flint, who has to face monsters from the sea depths. Developers from Massive Development studio have prepared more than 50 diversified missions to perform on the area of more than 8 thousand square kilometres of ocean floor.

Silent Hunter: Commander's Edition is a special edition of a submarine simulation produced by Aeon Electronic Entertainment and Strategic Simulations. The player takes on the role of commander of one of the American submarines operating in the Pacific during World War II. In addition to the base game, the Commander edition also includes two official extensions, additional areas of activity and 15 historical scenarios to be played.

A 688 class nuclear submarine simulator, named after the famous political fiction writer Tom Clancy. In the game we take part in a fictitious conflict over Spratly Islands taking place in the South China Sea. Unlike other advanced simulators, SSN offers a simplified gameplay model, which is designed for less experienced players.

Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific - U-Boat Missions is the official extension to the Silent Hunter 4 submarine simulation. The addition, created by Ubisoft's Romanian development studio, introduces a new area of action - the Indian Ocean, a new campaign and heroes gifted with special skills.

Simulation 09 September 2005

A first unofficial expansion to Silent Hunter III, developed by X1 Software. The authors introduced a new single player campaign consisting of twenty-two scenarios, four new multiplayer missions, and a few tutorials that enable us to practice some of the more complicated maneuvers. The new campaign takes place during a number of different operations, including the Dunkirk evacuation or D-Day landings. Moreover, we are given sixty new sea maps located all around the world.

Crash Dive is a PC-based simulation of the German U-boot, which patrolled the Atlantic during World War II. The game focuses on realism, but softens it with a little bit of agility elements. Production offers both independent clashes and a dynamic campaign.

Fourth stand-alone expansion to the well-known strategy game Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations. This time the subject of the add-on are submarines - production shows their use in various war theatres. WarfareSims studio is responsible for her creation.

An action adventure game with RPG and survival horror elements, which takes us to the secret submarine Arizona-12. During the game in 4 Minutes to the Apocalypse, we travel aboard the boat and learn its secrets, as well as fight the enemies... ...or hide from them.

VR game based on the famous 1981 German film Das Boot directed by Wolfgang Petersen, which was nominated for six Academy Awards. The picture tells the story of the crew of one of the U-Boot submarines, patrolling the waters of the Atlantic Ocean during World War II. During the game we find ourselves on the board of this type of machine and take part in military operations, performing various missions. Das Boot: The VR Game is, as the name suggests, a game designed for virtual reality goggles.

World War II submarine simulator by Sid Meier. The player's task is to patrol the waters of the Pacific Ocean in search of the Japanese fleet, and not only an extensive arsenal, but also a set of realistic combat tactics and specialized equipment, enabling constant monitoring of the area.
