PC (Personal computer) - one of the most popular home platforms and the only one which doesn’t offer playing video games as its main purpose. PC was born in the 1970s, but it is impossible to give an exact moment of its birth or even a name of its creator. However, IBM is the one who gave computers their present shape, using, at the beginning of the 1980s, an idea of open architecture – which is today one of the most important differences between computers and consoles.

The foundations of PC as a gaming platform are currently systems of digital distribution of video games (Steam, Origin, Uplay) and MMO games that mostly work in f2p (free-to-play) model.

Secret World Legens is a story-driven MMO action RPG developed by Funcom. It is serves as a restart of the company's other MMO game, The Secret World. The plot is based on the same premise as the original game and tells the story of the same conflict-driven, full of magic and bloodthirsty monters world where mysterious factions of templars and iluminati fight for power. As we play, we will visit darker sides of many real-world cities. We will use magic and conventional weapons in our fight against the supernatural. Secret World Legends has a bigger open world than the original game, where more players can be active at the same time. When it comes to combat, we can now evade attacks, but the number of available abilities was reduced. We can finish the game's story completely on our own, unlike in many MMORPGs, but nothing stands in our way if we want to play with our friends. PvP is completely optional.

Night Trap - 25th Anniversary Edition (PC)

Adventure December 2017

A remastered edition of Night Trap, a game that debuted in 1992. The new version was developed by Screaming Villains. Similarly to its predecessor, the game uses full motion video technology that utilizes interactive video materials with real actors. The developers of the remaster cleaned ninety minutes of the recordings used in the original game and they created a new interface that supports FullHD resolution. In Night Trap – 25th Anniversary Edition the player assumes the role of one of the agents of a secret agency that fights paranormal threats. The game takes place in the house of Martin family. Five young female friends are sleeping there. Soon they discover that they aren’t alone, as vampire-like creatures called Augers invaded the house. The player must protect the girls from danger by using various traps installed across the mansion. The gameplay focuses on observation of the feed from eight different cameras and on activating traps whenever one of the monsters is in the range. Because the events are played in real time, each failure is permanent – failing to protect even one girl leads to losing the game and to having to start it from the beginning.
