The main theme of The Walking Dead: Season One revolves around a dramatic struggle for survival in a world infested by zombies. The player assumes the role of Lee Everett, one of the few survivors. The gameplay emphasizes exploration, dialogues, collecting items, and puzzle solving.

A post-apocalyptic RPG and a sequel to the 1997’s bestseller, Fallout. Fallout 2 was developed by Black Isle Studios, once again in cooperation with Interplay. The action is set in 2241, 80 years after the events of the first game. The player assumes the role of a chosen one, who is tasked by the village elders with finding the G.E.C.K, a device capable of restoring the world after the nuclear apocalypse. Many gameplay solutions from the original remain unchanged, including the S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

A classic cRPG developed by Black Isle Studios. The action of Fallout is set in a post-apocalyptic world of the future. In 2077, the struggle for oil deposits between the United States and China led to an outbreak of a war, which eventually ended with both sides using their nuclear arsenal. However, before the missiles came down some groups of American citizens had managed to find refuge in commercial shelters, called the Vaults. 84 years later, a malfunction occurs in Vault 13.

A first-person shooter with cRPG features and a sequel to the 2009’s hit. Gearbox Software studio once again managed the development, with the publishing support of 2K Games company. The game’s story is set some time after the events of first part. This time the players will face Handsome Jack, a self-proclaimed dictator of Pandora.

Sunset Overdrive is a humorous third-person perspective shooter created by Insomniac Games studio. The player takes on the role of a cleaner who fights hordes of mutants that captured the eponymous post-apocalyptic city of Sunset.

Earth has been invaded by nightmarish legendary monsters that ruined the cities and slaughtered almost all humans. The survivors hide in fortified metropolises and small, forgotten villages, hoping to live through at least one day more. You play as a person, who wakes from cryogenic sleep and wants to find out who they are and what happened to humanity.

DLC for a survival game called DayZ, which introduces a new map inspired by Poland. At DayZ: Livonia we have a 163 square kilometre area, full of lush vegetation and wildlife (with a dangerous brown bear at the forefront).

An adventure action game. In The Eternal Castle [REMASTERED], players hit a postapocalyptic Earth, and their task is to find the researchers sent there, who have lost their lives without any news.

Cloud Gardens is an unusual mix of strategy game and puzzle game. The game is held by the studio Noio, which has among others Kingdoms: Two Crowns. The game is about creating gardens in a post-apocalyptic world.

An action RPG developed by Supergiant Games - a studio established by Amir Rao and Gavin Simon, who both are former employees of Electronic Arts. In the game, the player assumes the role of a hero named Kidd, who one day wakes up in his bed drifting among the remains of the world, in which he used to live before. The young lad embarks on a journey to find other survivors and provide them with shelter.

A post-apocalyptic survival-horror FPS developed by 4A Games studio from Ukraine. The plot continues the events of Metro 2033, a game published in 2010, while the story loosely alludes to the books by Dmitry Glukhowsky. The action takes place in a world of future, destroyed by nuclear bombing. A handful of Moscow citizens who have survived the explosion hid in the city’s subway network. Divided into several conflicted fractions, people try to fend off waves of mutated animals.

A standalone ATOM RPG add-on that continues the threads started in the original. In ATOM RPG: Trudograd we talk and perform tasks for the inhabitants of the Trudograd city, and we also have turn-based battles.

Hard Truck: Apocalypse is a quite unusual combination of RPG and action racing games created by Targem Games studio. Unusual, because we drive not a character, but a powerful vehicle. The authors focused on postapocalyptic atmosphere, and the player's task is to try to find the remains of the lost civilization.

A special remastered edition of the two popular first-person shooters: Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, developed primarily with 8th-generation consoles in mind. The story of the Metro series revolves around a youngster named Artem and presents a post-apocalyptic vision of the world in which the humanity fights for survival after a nuclear apocalypse. The action of Metro 2033 takes place in the tunnels of the Moscow subway that now shelters the survivors from dangerous mutants.

A fan-made modification of the first installment in the popular series of shooters set in a post-apocalyptic reality and inspired by science-fiction works of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. The mod is based on the final version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, which introduced many changes and simplifications to the gameplay, earning itself disapproval of the fans in this respect.

The next installment of Bethesda's series of first-person action games, based on the license of the cult science fiction Terminator movie series. In the game we play the role of a hero freed by the resistance movement, who decides to join the fighting fighters and stop the criminal artificial intelligence of Skynet, which experiments with time. Technically, the game is a big step forward, offering a richly textured 3D environment and the ability to look around freely with the mouse.

A first-person MMO shooter set in the post-apocalyptic setting of S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which was based on the motifs from Roadside Picnic, a novel by Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. sZone is the debut production from the Russian studio Cybertime Systems. The players assume the role of stalkers – daredevils brave enough to venture deep inside the restricted area surrounding the destroyed nuclear plant in Chernobyl in search of valuable artifacts.

A survival horror game with a top down view. Darkwood is the first commercial project of a Polish studio, Acid Wizard, and its development has been backed up by users voting on the Steam Greenlight platform. The game takes place in a procedurally generated open world, with the player placed in the role of a character trying to survive the confrontations with supernatural beings without losing his sanity in the eponymous dark wood.

The fourth and final DLC for Borderlands 2, a post-apocalyptic action game developed by Gearbox Software that combines elements of FPS and RPG genre. The key character in the Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep expansion is a crazy thirteen-year old girl who loves explosives. The fans of the series should know her from the basic version of Borderlands 2 as well as from the Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage expansion.

An adventure/strategy game with survival elements by Polish studio 11bit Studios. Frostpunk is set in a fictional icy-cold world, whose climate deeply affected the development of its society. To survive, people rely mostly on steam engines. However, it is not enough, and the society is falling apart, which means it needs to change. The gameplay focuses on the survival aspect, which, unlike in other such productions, means more than gathering and managing resources.

ATOM RPG is a classic feature game produced by Atom Team studio. The player takes on the role of a resident of the postnuklean Soviet Union.

A co-op-oriented FPP action game and a unique combination of a Counter Strike-type shooter and survival horror. Left 4 Dead takes place in the apocalyptic United States, ravaged by a deadly virus, which got out of scientists' control and changes humans into bloodthirsty monsters. You play as one of the few survivors immune to the virus, and your task is to get out of a series of locations overrun by the mutants.

A sequel to the popular 2008 co-op shooter game by Valve, in which you play as one of the four brand new characters and face hordes of virus-infected mutants, visiting previously unavailable locations in the American Southwest. Compared to the original, the mechanics remained mostly unchanged, while the biggest novelty is the introduction of several kinds of weapons to be used in close quarters combat.
