Euro Truck Simulator 2 (PC)

A sequel to the popular truck simulation game. Just like its predecessor from 2008, the game was developed by Czech developer SCS Software. Euro Truck Simulator 2 lets you play as a truck driver and owner of a delivery company. The core gameplay has you transport cargo between towns and cities. The game’s map comprises of a large part of Europe, and features a significant number of cities you can visit. The money you earn doing jobs lets you purchase new trucks or customize the ones you already own. Euro Truck Simulator 2 sports attractive visuals and realistic driving model, which takes into account not only well-researched real-life physics, but also the current road conditions.
Euro Truck Simulator 2: Going East! (PC)

The first big expansion to the highly-popular simulation game, Euro Truck Simulator 2. The add-on has been prepared by Bohemian studio SCS Software in answer to community’s request. Euro Truck Simulator 2: Going East! adds new locations to the basic game, the Middle Europe countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia. The developers made sure to include faithfully recreate topography of each town (including landmark buildings like the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw or the Buda Castle in Budapest), as well as realistically depicted, dense network of national roads between them. Small changes we also introduced in the visuals, especially in landscapes along routes.
The Forest (PC)
A first-person perspective (FPP) sandbox survival horror game. The Forest is the work of an independent studio SKS Games, known mainly for the smartphone hit, End Night. The player assumes the role of a sole survivor of a plane crash. The hero ends up on an isolated island far away from civilization, inhabited by a tribe of cannibalistic mutants. The gameplay focuses on the exploration of land (forest, caves, etc.), survival skills (building a shelter, searching for food, setting traps, etc.), and fighting or avoiding confrontation with opponents. The creators have made an effort to create a lively, fast-changing world, allowing for great freedom of action. As for the technical side, The Forest utilizes Unity 4 engine.
Elite: Dangerous (PC)

The fourth installment in the Elite series. The game is a space simulator created again by David Braben and the Frontier studio. Elite: Dangerous is set in the far future; after humanity had colonized countless star systems, the Universe is dominated by three superpowers: the Empire, the Federation, and the Alliance. Brave pilots seek easy money working beyond the territories controlled by these entities. The open-world game structure offers the players large amounts of freedom when it comes to exploration, trading or completing military assignments. Instead of the classic division into the solo and multiplayer modes, the creators of Elite: Dangerous allow the player to join their friends or return to single-player experience at any time.
Half-Life 2 (PC)

A sequel to the Valve Software's best-selling game that set new standards for the FPS genre back in 1998. Half-Life 2 is set several years after the events of the first game. Once again, the player assumes the role of Gordon Freeman – a doctor of physics who used to work in Black Mesa Labs, where an unfortunate incident opened a portal for alien life forms to invade the Earth. This time, the story takes us into a fictional City 17 and its immediate vicinity. The protagonist now works for a secret government organization. His mission is to repel the invaders from another dimension, in which he is aided by Alyx Vance – a young women fighting as a part of human resistance. The sequel introduces a technological revolution, employing the Valve’s proprietary game engine called Source. Its main advantage is excellent physics simulation, letting players destroy almost any element of environment and use various objects as covers or even weapons.
Star Citizen (PC)
A space simulator created by Chris Roberts and the Cloud Imperium Games developer team. The plot of Star Citizen is set in the 30th century. Humanity, united under the banner of United Earth Empire, has begun the colonization of the universe, encountering many alien races in its course. It is a unique opportunity for adventurous pilots to gain fame and wealth, as well as the treasured status of an intergalactic empire citizen. The gameplay combines elements of spaceship simulator, shooter, cRPG, as well as economic strategy. The game offers two modes. Squadron 42 is an offline campaign, in which the player-controlled character joins an elite squadron of star fighters. For MMO aficionados, the developers have created the Galaxy Mode, allowing them to play with thousands of others. Spectacular visuals of Star Citizen are generated by the CryEngine 3 engine.
A sandbox game by Unknown Worlds that combines elements of action-adventure productions and RPGs. As the game’s universe draws inspiration from such novels as Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, at the bottom of the ocean you can find bizarre sea monsters, as well as remnants of futuristic buildings and ships. The player assumes the role of a captain of an advanced submarine, and explores the depths of the ocean. The game’s characteristic feature is the ability to design vessels and determine such things as performance, layout, on-board mechanisms, and materials used for the construction. You begin with rather primitive ships, but as you progress you will be able to construct more advanced vessels, and explore previously unavailable parts of the ocean. While playing, you can freely walk around your ship, and even go outside to explore the marine world on your own.

A free-to-play MMO flight simulator. It was developed by Gajin Entertainment, a Russian studio which previously created such titles as Wings of Prey, Birds of Steel, and Apache: Air Assault. The players assume the role of fighter pilots and can pilot hundreds of carefully recreated World War II aircrafts. The developers made sure that battlefield reality is faithfully reflected not only in the air, but also on the land (artillery, infantry) and at sea (navy). Progress allows us to upgrade our planes, buy new kinds of weapons as well as learn new piloting skills. War Thunder stands out from its competitors thanks to its high-quality visuals and realistic flight physics.

A robust car racing simulation game created by the experts at this genre, Slightly Mad Studios (Need for Speed Shift, Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends and other titles), in cooperation with the community of World of Mass Development. Project CARS lets you test your driving skills, putting you behind the wheel of diligently recreated cars of different classes – from karts, through sport cars, to Formula 1 racing cars. The creators highlight the authenticity of the experience, including realistic driving model and advanced collision system, as well as impressive visuals. The game offers many varieties of gameplay in both single player and competitive online multiplayer.
7 Days to Die (PC)
A post-apocalyptic sandbox FPS developed by a debuting indie studio The Fun Pimps. The game takes you to a near future, when a nuclear war allowed a dangerous virus to spread across the entire world. The virus kills its victims in 7 days, as the title suggests, and turns them into bloodthirsty zombies. You play as one of the few not infected people, fighting for survival in Navezgane County, Arizona. 7 Days to Die allows you to freely explore its open world, adjusting the story to your actions. To help you survive in this hostile environment, the game introduces a well-developed crafting system that lets you gather food and resources to make useful tools and fix or upgrade your hideouts. The authors prepared a campaign for solo players, as well as a score of online modes, both competitive and cooperative.
Dreamfall Chapters (PC)

The third installment in the series of adventure games started in 1999 with Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Dreamfall: Chapters was developed by Red Thread Games led by Ragnar Tornquist. The story of the game presents further adventures of the young protagonist, Zoe Castillo, who thanks to her highly unusual powers is able to travel between three worlds: the magical Arcadia, the technologically advanced Stark and the mysterious Storytime. Since it is a traditional adventure game, the gameplay focuses on such features like item gathering, conversations with non-playable characters and riddle solving. Despite the rather small budget of the game, developers of Dreamfall: Chapters have created attractive visuals generated by using the popular Unity Engine.

A very realistic racing simulator developed by independent studio Kunos Simulazioni, which specializes in the genre. The developers of Assetto Corsa have previously created such games like netKar Pro and Ferrari Virtual Academy. The game allows the players to assume the role of professional race drivers and participate in thrilling races of various car classes – from mass-produced vehicles, through prototypes, to the legends of GT and F1. The game has a realistic driving model developed by racing engineers and professional drivers. The model calculates many factors related to the car’s behavior on a track, including g-force distribution and tire grip. Assetto Corsa’s high quality graphics employ the potential of DirectX 11 libraries and the eighth generation consoles. It uses such technologies like HDR, motion blur, dynamic lightning and shadows.
Team Fortress 2 (PC)

The continuation of the multiplayer FPS with strategy elements, being a continuation of the legendary Quake’s freeware modification from 1996. After Valve Corporation bought the title, subsequent versions of the game were powered by Half-Life’s engine, while TF 2 utilizes the modern Source engine. To some extent, mechanics resemble those in the original Team Fortress, which means completing subsequent missions, despite the other team's efforts to prevent that. There are 9 well-balanced classes which feature unique abilities. Cooperation – the key to success – consists in the skillful use of character abilities that supplement each other. The most characteristic element of the game are the exaggerated heroes and humorous visuals that go against the hyper-realism trend, employing the style of an animated movie.

A first-person adventure game with logic puzzles, developed by the creator of Braid – Jonathan Blow and his independent studio Number None. The game takes you to a large, mysterious island, whose all inhabitants vanished without a trace. Gameplay has you explore this vast world, solve logic puzzles, and search for clues that will help you solve the mysteries of this place. Game mechanics resemble the cult Myst series. As you play, you have to display remarkable patience, observance, and the ability to connect different pieces of the story. Many things here have secret meanings, and the key symbols, hints, and markings were cleverly hidden within the game’s environment. The Witness features simple, but charming, 3D graphics and supports the virtual reality headset Oculus Rift.
Gang Beasts (PC)
A multiplayer-focused joke arcade game created by Boneloaf, an indie studio from the Great Britain. More precisely, this is an unusual brawler, in which character physics plays a key role. You control colorful little men whose animations are procedurally generated as you play. The gameplay focuses on melee combat, including punching, kicking, throwing your opponents off ledges or pushing them into traps. The game offers several diverse locations, where you can hurt enemies using elements of environment, such as scaffolds, or running trucks, to add to the base moveset. The game’s visuals are minimalistic – the environments comprise of simple, untextured geometric shapes featuring little to no detail. The game offers several modes of local and online competitive multiplayer (solo or in a team). You can also compete against AI or play in the sandbox mode.

A spectacular FPS created exclusively for VR by Skydance Interactive. The story takes place at a relatively not distant time in the future on a world destroyed by natural disasters and ruled with an iron fist by megacorporations. During the game, a player assumes the role of a six-story war machine pilot, who works for the United States Free Forces resistance. He is tasked with a mission to fight a privately owned conglomerate - HUMNX. Players get to observe the action from the first-person perspective, and the gameplay builds on battles with hordes of opponents that attack from every direction possible. On the battlefield, one can use the futuristic firearms his mech is equipped with, however, in desperate situations, one can strike powerful blows with mech’s gigantic fists. During the combat, the AI-controlled allies make for a helpful company. As the game’s story progresses, one acquires experience points, which allow a player to upgrade his machine and boost its military potential.
Spider-Man: Homecoming VR (PC)

Spider-Man: Homecoming VR is an arcade action game developed by Sony Picutres Virtual Reality as a part of the promotional campaign for the Spider-Man: Homecoming film. We play as the titular super hero. Our job is to test the new suit and new web blasters that were given to us by Stark Industries. The fact that Vulture breaths down our back only complicates things. In the end we will be forced to face him. The game is made of a series of challenges that test our aim, reflexes, and observation. We will be using all kinds of spider web while doing them. We use it to shoot at static and moving objects, move and throw environmental objects, and travel around the roofs of New York’s skyscrapers. We observe the action from a first-person perspective. Spider-Man: Homecoming VR is a virtual reality game that requires VR goggles to be playable and is free-to-play.
The Mage's Tale (PC)

The Mage’s Tale is VR a dungeon crawler developed by InXile Entertainment, creators of games like Wasteland 2 or Torment: Tides of Numenera. The game takes us to a fantasy world that was created for the The Bard’s Tale game series. Events of The Mage’s Tale take place between the third and fourth installment of that series. We play as a young adept of magic whose task is to find his kidnapped mentor and expose the antagonistic wizard's conspiracy. Gameplay focuses on exploration of ancient crypts, dungeons, and sewers located bellow the town of Skara Brae. These dungeons are filled with all kinds of dangers like traps and various enemies. Our hero can use all sorts of elements-based spells and we can create new ones thanks to the game’s complex crafting system.

The Wizards is a VR action-adventure game developed by the Polish studio Carbon Studio. The game takes us to a fantasy world where we play as one of the titular mages. Our job will be to travel in time in order to save the Kingdom of Men from the impending doom. We observe the action from a first-person perspective. As we play, we will explore all kinds of diverse locations where we will face your typical fantasy beasts and enemies. There are many various spells at our disposal, all of them being based on four elements. We unlock more of them (and upgrade those we already know) as we progress in the game. We will also find Fate Cards as we play. They serve as special modifiers that allow us to adjust the rules of the game to our liking and, for example, change the difficulty level.
Elite: Dangerous - Horizons (PC)

A set of official expansions to the space simulator released back in 2014 by the Frontier Developments studio. The package has been collectively named Elite: Dangerous – Horizons, and comprises of several consecutively developed add-ons, which will enhance the game by adding additional content. The first expansion is called Planetary Landings and allows the players to land on the surfaces of specific planets, which have been designed in an extremely credible manner and scale. Before we choose the area of our landing, we can conduct a scan of the surface, revealing any crashed machines, resources or enemies. Additionally, the developers have supplied the players with a special vehicle – the Scarab, which preforms extraordinarily in a variety of environments and can be used both for exploration and combat. When it comes to technical matters, the Frontier Developments studio has made sure that we can transition fluently between the surface area of a planet and vastness of space, without any in-game loading screens.

A first-person perspective action-adventure game stylized as a survival horror. Allison Road had a somewhat complicated development cycle, with previous developers (Lilith) abandoning the project. However, a new studio, Far From Home, decided to pick-up the project and lead it to a stable release. The player assumes the role of an unidentified hero, who wakes up one night in a suburban home without having any recollection of the events of the last few days. Our protagonist, attempting to return to his family and discover what has happened, learns that the mansion has a grim backstory, while its walls are inhabited by dangerous, supernatural beings, including a ghost named Lilly. Our task is to avoid the monsters and survive five full nights in the grim house to explore it thoroughly and reveal its secrets. As our hero doesn’t have any weapons on him, Allison Road forces the player to use the environment around him to hide and lay traps.
Trackmania Turbo (PC)

Another installment in the series of racing games started in year 2003. For the past few years the franchise was developed by Nadeo Studio, the founders of the series, under the banner of Ubisoft. The general concepts of the gameplay are left unchanged and the objective is to complete wicked tracks, filled with various obstacles, ramps, barrels, and treacherous turns. Trackmania Turbo features 4 distinctive environments, including a tropical archipelago, a large stadium, a rocky canyon, and a hilly valley. Each of them offers different experience and requires a slightly different driving technique. In campaign mode there are about 200 tracks to complete, divided into 5 categories based on their difficulty level. There is also a multiplayer mode in which, in addition to the well known modes, Double Driver was added. This mode allows two different players to control a single vehicle. The game has also an editor traditional for the series, which allows creating new tracks.
