To be successful you need to earn eight Gym Badges by defeating the Battle Arenas’ leaders specialized in different elements.

The gameplay resembles the formula used in the original game - the player explores randomly generated dungeons, talks to seven female companions (as well as asks them out on dates) and fights the enemies encountered.

In contrast to the previous installments in the series, the game is not a remake but an entirely new chapter in the history of the franchise. The story takes place 2000 years after the events of the original Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Gaiden, focusing on a group of soldiers from the kingdom of Ylisse.

Another spin-off in the popular series of dungeon crawlers, Etrian Odyssey, developed by Spike Chunsoft. The player assumes the role of an adventurer, who helps an unfamiliar woman in reaching the roots of the Yggdrasil tree, which is told to hide a gate to the world of gods. The events in Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2 are presented from an isometric perspective, and a significant portion of gameplay is about exploration of randomly generated dungeons as well as fighting turn-based battles.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is a complete remake of Radiant Historia, a jRPG game that was released in 2010 on Nintendo DS. The remake has completely new 3D visuals, new soundtrack composed by Yoko Shimomura, and an additional storyline with new scenarios and characters. Moreover, with game veterans in mind, Atlus created a special option of skipping the bigger part of the story and jumping right into the new content.

In Yo-Kai Watch the player assumes the role of a young boy who receives a magic watch from a mysterious creature. The watch allows him to see the title yokai, sympathetic ghosts that live in the world. The protagonist is tasked with helping various people, but other, less friendly yokai are trying to prevent him from doing that.

Like its predecessor, Story of Seasons allows us to play as an amateur farmer, who moves to a small, shabby town of Oak Tree. The gameplay is not much different from that of Harvest Moon—you buy seeds, plant and water them, gather crops, and take care of your animals.

In the game, you manage a declining farm, trying to restore it to its former glory. You play mostly by taking care of your animals, buying and planting seeds, gathering and selling crops, and also meeting various NPCs.

The plot combines threads from the previous iterations, and is set in three different epochs. Thus the player is taken 10 thousand years back and visits the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Then the game fasts-forward to 2100, and the action now takes place in Tokyo.
