A sandbox platform game by indie studio Re-Logic, sometimes called the 2D version of the popular Minecraft. There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

Another game by independent Swedish studio Image & Form, set in the universe of SteamWorld, which combines elements of Steampunk and Western genres. The game is set in the distant future, where a powerful cataclysm forced the remaining inhabitants to flee into space on steam space ships. The player becomes a captain of a group of robo-pirates who are trying to survive in this post-apocalyptic reality by raiding and plundering enemy bases and ships.

An old-school open-world action game and a sequel to Retro City Rampage developed by Vblank Entertainment. The action of Shakedown Hawaii takes place 30 years after the events presented in its predecessor. The protagonist has grown really old and got himself a large belly. Dramatic events forced him to take up arms once again and to rebuild his crime empire.

Cult County is a survival horror adventure game in which events are shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The story takes place in a desert town in Texas, where the protagonist finds himself in search of a sister. He finds an atmosphere of fear and distrust caused by sinister cultists, and soon comes to fight for survival. The game combines a dramatic struggle with exploratory elements in locations with a partially open structure.

C-Wars is an unusual real-time strategy in which we have to fight off the zombie invasion by commanding the lunar colony's forces of order. Battles are played on squared boards, the colors of which determine which units we can call them.

Mighty No. 9 is an arcade platformer developed in 2.5D by the experienced Japanese developer Comcept; the title draws inspiration from the renowned Mega Man series. The storyline is focused on the character of mighty Beck, the only robot who resisted an extremely dangerous virus, which arouses aggression among mechanical beings. Brutal, two-dimensional platformer maintained in retro style. The hero of the game, the Viking named Völgarr, was revived by Odin to kill the army of the evil dwarf Fafnir. As we travel through an army of monsters in a land of monsters, we have to face stronger and stronger enemies, ingenious traps and powerful bosses.

A classic, two-dimensional platformer considered a representative of the metroidvania genre, developed by Lunar Ray Games that was founded by a former employee of Microsoft and Bungie Software. The story of Timespinner is set in the fantasy universe of Ernah, created by the developer in the days of his youth. During the game we play the part a young girl named Lunaris, whose village was destroyed by invaders from another planet.

Minimalistic two-dimensional platformer in which we play the moon looking for the lost sun. Innovative production mechanics is the combination of the upper and lower edges of the screen. The game has a total of 100 levels of increasing difficulty.

Super Mighty Power Man is a platform arcade game inspired by the classic Mega Man series. Maintained in an old-school atmosphere and equipped with a chiptune soundtrack, the production tells the story of a boy capable of transforming himself into a heroic Super Mighty Power Man. Heros has to travel through new worlds, dealing with evil bosses to prevent the approaching conquest of the Earth.

A racing game inspired by arcade titles from 1980s, including the cult-classic OutRun. The players assume control of six retro supercars and take part in street races or timed circuits. The game sports old-school graphics and a synth/retrowave soundtrack, and allows us to create race tracks and share them with the online community.

A continuation of a wacky 2D platform shooter, which in terms of mechanics resembles classic games such as Contra and the iconic Metal Slug series. Developed by OrangePixel, the game delivers even more chaos caused by countless bullets, enemies, and explosions making it impossible for a player to calmly analyze the situation on the screen. Luckily, throughout consecutive stages, there are numerous first-aid kits, which are able of healing even a nearly dead hero.

Developed by the one-man studio Locomalito, an updated version of a 2D platformer by Maldita Castilla, published in 2012. The plot draws inspiration from the history and legends of many European countries, mostly Spain. One day, an evil demon uses tears of a young witch to open gates of hell and let different kinds of filth in. The player assumes the role of Don Ramiro – one of the faithful knights in service of Alfonso VI, uniting to travel the lands of Tolomera and bring back peace and order.

The plot of Punch Club (also known as Video Hero Super Story) tells a story of a boy whose father was brutally killed. Twenty years later, the hero decides to become the best fighter in the world and find out who was responsible for his father’s death. Apart from fighting, the player needs to take care of the character’s everyday activities.

An expanded version of a popular indie game that has been released in 2011 by Team Meat studio. Nicalis studio, a bit more experienced team, has been involved in refreshing of the title, in cooperation with original developers. When it comes to mechanics, the gameplay hasn’t changed much, offering randomly-generated levels, traversed by the titular Isaac, who solves simple puzzles and eliminates monsters or much more powerful bosses.
