Sonic Generations is an arcade platformer designed to celebrate the 20th birthday of the title blue hedgehog. In the game created by the Sonic Team there are two incarnations of Sonik - classic and modern, which try to eliminate holes in space-time. There are many locations in the game, which are a reference to the levels, known to fans of earlier versions of the cycle.

There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

The titular protagonist of Kirby: Planet Robobot is a little pink fellow who has to bring back order to the Dream Land, as it was attacked by mechanical entities causing turmoil that needs to be dealt with. Mechanics are similar to those in the previous installments. The player travels through platform levels, uncovers secrets, and fights enemies – Kirby swallows them, which allows him to gain their special skills.

A classic, two-dimensional platformer considered a representative of the metroidvania genre, developed by Lunar Ray Games that was founded by a former employee of Microsoft and Bungie Software. The story of Timespinner is set in the fantasy universe of Ernah, created by the developer in the days of his youth. During the game we play the part a young girl named Lunaris, whose village was destroyed by invaders from another planet.

A continuation of a wacky 2D platform shooter, which in terms of mechanics resembles classic games such as Contra and the iconic Metal Slug series. Developed by OrangePixel, the game delivers even more chaos caused by countless bullets, enemies, and explosions making it impossible for a player to calmly analyze the situation on the screen. Luckily, throughout consecutive stages, there are numerous first-aid kits, which are able of healing even a nearly dead hero.

Developed by the one-man studio Locomalito, an updated version of a 2D platformer by Maldita Castilla, published in 2012. The plot draws inspiration from the history and legends of many European countries, mostly Spain. One day, an evil demon uses tears of a young witch to open gates of hell and let different kinds of filth in. The player assumes the role of Don Ramiro – one of the faithful knights in service of Alfonso VI, uniting to travel the lands of Tolomera and bring back peace and order.

While having fun, we travel through New York and Dimension X, fighting and overcoming agility stages. We have at our disposal four different characters of the title Ninja Turtles. The game is the work of the WayForward Technologies studio.

A platform game that continues the story of the gunslinger named Clive. After saving the daughter of Mayor Johnson, the protagonist returns to his hometown, which in the meantime was attacked by bandits. Without thinking too much, Clive begins chasing the leader of the villains, as capturing him is the only way to save his home. The chase takes place across half of the world, enabling the Swedish studio Hörberg Productions to make campaign levels more varied.

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is a 2D platformer available for PCs. While playing, the player crosses vast levels, solves puzzles, overcomes obstacles and fights enemies. The collection of various equipment and armaments also plays an important role, and many of the items held can be upgraded. All this was done in a style modelled on productions from 32-bit consoles.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe is the first installment of the popular in Japan Kirby series, which was released on the Nintendo 3DS console. Again we are dealing with a colorful side-scrolled platformer, whose main character is a pink ball with the ability to absorb various objects and spit them out with great power. In comparison to previous editions of Triple Deluxe has been enriched with new powers for the main character and competitive multiplayer mode for four people.

Players have the opportunity to get to know further adventures of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and other characters from the fantastic mushroom universe. The title was produced by the developer Nintendo EAD.

Once human civilization had fallen and the Homo sapiens was reduced to cave-dwelling troglodytes, weird creatures that are mostly robots became the new dominant species. One of them is the main protagonist of the game, Rusty.
