A web-based MMO role-playing game based on the popular manga universe created by Masashi Kishimoto. Naruto Online was developed jointly by Chinese studio More Fun and the CyberConnect 2 team, also known from the majority of the stand-alone games in the franchise. The game takes place in the world, where elements of the medieval Japan are combined with modern technology, and you play as ninja warriors, who represent selected villages from this universe. Apart from the perfect training, specialist equipment, and unique combat techniques, they all share the ability of using the so-called chakra energy to use special attacks. The mechanics are typical for Asian MMORPG productions, allowing you to play on your own in the PvE mode, where you do a series of story quests, while the visuals are based on those of other Naruto games and comics.
League of Angels II (WWW)

A sequel to the browser MMORPG game League of Angels. Similarly as the first installment, the sequel is a free-to-play game with microtransactions. League of Angels II invites the players to a fantasy world in which a constant fight against the forces of evil takes place. Combat in the game is turn-based and can be fully automated, allowing the team of a few persons to perform attacks and special attacks on their own. Selection of characters, their equipment and development is an important aspect of the game, as is adapting tactics and positions of team members to the situation at hand. New characters are obtained in League of Angels II as rewards but they can be also bought for real money. The game offers many gameplay modes. Despite the fact that it is a MMORPG title, it offers the possibility to play alone, for example in the Arena mode in which one fights for points that enable the player to buy items. It is also possible to creature guilds and fight against other players. League of Angels II offers three-dimensional graphics with style that is similar to one used in Japanese RPGs.
Ragnarok Journey (WWW)

Ragnarok Journey is a browser MMORPG developed by Gravity Interactive that refers to and is heavily inspired by Ragnarok Online. The game takes us to a fantasy world inspired by norse mythology. We learn the story by doing quests and talking to various NPCs. In terms of gameplay mechanics Ragnarok Journey is a typical MMORPG where, after we create our character, we explore the game's vast world, do quests, collect items and equipment, and develop our hero. We can level up manually or leave that element to the game's A.I. Combat is an inseperable element of the game. We will face many various opponents against whom we can use range weapons, cold steel weapons, and magic. We can create our own guilds and do questes with other players.
The Curious Expedition (WWW)

A roguelike game set in the 19th century. The Curious Expedition combines elements of adventure, strategy, and action role-playing games. We assume the role of the head of a scientific expedition that searches for legendary places such as Atlantis or El Dorado. Our party can consist of such famous 19th-century scientists as Karol Darwin, Nikola Tesla, or Maria Skłodowska-Curie. Each of them works for their own reputation and uses a unique weapon. While playing, we move through procedurally generated maps divided into hexes. Once we reach an interesting place, the perspective switches to the view typical for classical adventure games. In our travels, we can encounter local tribes and hidden treasures guarded by traps and various enemies — from wild animals and cannibals to dinosaurs or zombies. The title puts emphasis on logistics and planning. Selecting the right equipment and skillful management of our resources are key elements to the success of every expedition. The Curious Expedition features old-school pixel-art graphics.
Darken Age: The Awakening of the Forgotten (WWW)
Darken Age: The Awakening of the Forgotten is a free-to-play browser MMORPG set in a fantasy world and developed by Polish studio Dark Workshop. The game takes place in a fantasy world of Acheron. Dark Workshop decided not to use your typical fantasy races and created their own original species. Story focuses on the invasion of an army of demons and mutants known as the Legion. Threatened by the evil forces, intelligent races of Acheron form an Alliance and send a special expedition to the source of evil, the island of Tamrel. We take the role of one of the members of that expedition. As in every proper MMORPG, we explore, fight, and do numerous quests. Our hero gets stronger and stronger as we play, gaining access to more powerful skills and equipment. Darken Age: The Awakening of the Forgotten also has an interesting crafting system that requires the players to cooperate. The game has optional microtransactions.
Angel Stone (WWW)

A post-apocalyptic hack’n’slash created with browsers and mobile devices in mind, developed by a Korean studio Fincon. Angel Stone takes place in a universe mixing fantasy with elements from various mythologies. During the gameplay, we join the Resistance, a human army fighting a war against Legion, an army of darkness which managed to defeat the Angels, and now continues to lay waste to Earth. Before we begin our adventure, we need to create a hero, choosing one from three available classes (Berserker, Gunslinger, and Shadow Mage), each offering a different combat style. The players are left with a vast single player campaign, as well as cooperation mode, or a real-time, crossplatform PvP module. Additionally, the game offers a typical character development system, in which titular Angel Stones as used as means to unlock new abilities.
