A remastered edition of a classic adventure game created by LucasArts in 1993. That game, along with its sequel, Maniac Mansion, became famous as the grandfather of modern adventure games. The Remastered Edition was prepared by Double Fine Productions, a studio founded by Tim Schafer – one of the co-creators of the original hit. In the game you play as a trio of heroes who are trying to save the world from a threat posed by the titular tentacle.

A third-person action game starring Marvel's most popular super hero, released in about the same time as Mark Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man movie. The game was developed by Beenox, the studio that, with a slightly different line-up, created Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: The Edge of Time. The events presented in the game take place after the ending of the movie and tell a completely separate story.

The second installment in the best-selling survival horror action-adventure game series. Similarly to the original installment, the game has been developed by the Japanese studio Capcom. The action of Resident Evil 2 is set after the events shown in the first installment – nearly all citizens of Raccoon City have been infected by a mysterious virus, which changed them into bloodthirsty zombies.

The first installment in the Assassin's Creed Chronicles series of spin-offs, created in the form of a 2.5D adventure platformer. The game was developed by Ubisoft as a bonus for users who bought the season pass for Assassin's Creed: Unity. The game is set in the sixteenth-century China, and the players assume the role of female assassin Shao Jun – a student of Ezio Auditore and the protagonist of the animated film Assassin's Creed: Embers.

The Fruit of Grisaia is a PC-based visual novel adventure. We play the role of a teenage killer, who starts school full of pupils with dark secrets. While playing, we mainly follow the story and make decisions that direct the story to one of several alternative storyline paths.

Adventure canceled

An episodic adventure game created by Telltale Games and Mojang Ab. The game is set in the universe of Minecraft, whose world stands on the brink of destruction, and the only chance of saving it is the legendary Order of the Stone. You play as a character named Jesse, who, together with his friends, sets off on a perilous journey to find the Order and save the world.

Another edition of a popular soccer game series, whose consecutive installments have been appearing yearly for over two decades, developed a Canadian giant and its subsidiary EA Sports. Traditionally, the game offers a full spectrum of single and multiplayer modes, including Be a Pro and the Tournaments returning after an absence in previous iterations.

Arcade canceled

A third-person view adventure game developed by Tequila Works studio from Spain, which successfully debuted in 2012 with a post-apocalyptic platformer Deadlight. You assume the role of a boy who is trying to escape a mysterious island that conceals a sinister past. During the course of the game you will solve numerous puzzles, using a magical artifact that allows you to manipulate the environment and time. The title, despite being an action game also includes many platformer elements.

A sandbox platform game by indie studio Re-Logic, sometimes called the 2D version of the popular Minecraft. There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

Players once again find themselves in the fictional town of Raccoon City, whose residents have been turned into bloodthirsty zombies. Of course, behind these events is once again the Umbrella corporation, from whose laboratory escaped another, deadly virus. We're given two protagonists - at the beginning we control only Jill Valentine from the elite S.T.A.R.S.

Child of Light is a 2D RPG that combines the elements of modern platformers and Japanese role-playing games. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal, a subsidiary of Ubisoft which also collaborated in the development of Far Cry and Assassin Creed games. Child of Light tells the story of Aurora, a young girl who has to save the kingdom of Lemuria. When playing, we influence Aurora's development and witness her rough journey to adulthood.

The next installment of a dating simulator in which players take on the role of a tired Japanese single, visiting a Japanese bar with hostesses every night and trying to win the heart of one of the women working in it. During the game players try to find out more about their choice and make an appointment with her for the next dating. The title has new heroines and mini-games unavailable in the first part of the cycle.

Classic Japanese dungeon crawler with turn-based combat system, whose action was set in the world created for the card tactical game Monster Monpiece. Players take on the role of a young hero named Io and embark on a journey to defeat the monsters that threaten the world.

A spin-off of the series of fighting games developed by Team Ninja. Only female characters from the main series appear in this game. The mechanics of Dead or Alive: Xtreme 3 are completely different than the ones in the fighting games – it is a compilation of several arcade minigames. Each of these minigames has completely different principles. The player can participate in beach volleyball duels that – despite being based on real rules – are purely action based.

A third-person action game developed by experienced Japanese developer Omega Force (Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors) and an adaption of highly popular anime TV series and manga, originally known as Shingeki no Kyojin. The plot is based on the comic books and takes us to grim, post-apocalyptic world, in which the remnants of humanity enclosed themselves in a series of towering walls after being nearly driven to extinction by gigantic Titans.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is a production of an independent studio Dennaton Games, the developer duo of Jonathan “Cactus” Söderström and Dennis Wedin. The player controls a bandit, who, provided there is a payoff, undertakes a number of risky jobs. Depending on the mission conditions, the hero can be either forced to avoid a direct confrontation, or brutally eliminate all enemies.

We play as an ordinary Japanese high-school student named Hodai, whose life has turned upside-down after he is shot with an arrow by mischievous angel Kurona. This results in every female trying to hit on him in more than aggressive way, after as little as a single glance.

The action takes place in the deity-managed city of Orario, with a powerful tower full of treasures and challenges for adventurers at the heart of the game.

Classic point-and-click adventure developed by Double Fine studio, which was led by Tim Schaffer himself - a true legend of the industry and co-author of such cult titles as Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango. The plot of the game focuses on two seemingly unrelated characters. One of them is Vella, who lives in a small village and is to be sacrificed to a certain monster in order to ensure the safety of the remaining inhabitants of the settlement.

Strategy canceled

A digital adaptation of the strategy board game created by American company GMT Games. Twilight Struggle takes place during the Cold War and the player assumes the role of a leader of one of the two empires – USA or USSR. The game is played in turns on a global map. The rivaling sides are playing with cards that trigger events beneficial for one, either, or neither side of the conflict.

Another installment of the popular motorcycle game series, which since last year has returned once again under the wings of the experienced Italian Milestone studio. In the game we can guide a novice motorcyclist through all levels of sports career, or take part in the simulation of a single competition or the entire racing season. MotoGP 14 traditionally has a full license of the Motorcycle World Championship, so the game includes more than a hundred real riders, contemporary and historical.

Action game based on the motifs of the popular anime series - Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The plot depicts the adventures of 14-year-old Madoki Kaname and her four friends. The heroines, endowed with magical powers, fight against evil witches. The title was produced by Artdink studio with the support of Namco Bandai.
