PlayStation Vita is the second portable console from Sony (a successor to PlayStation Portable), counted as the 8th generation gaming platform. It was released on February 22nd, 2012 in North America and Europe at the same time. Despite the technological advancement of games released for PS Vita (possibly thanks to 4-core ARM CPU) and many multimedia features, it didn’t manage to repeat the success of PSP.

The action takes us to a world where fratricidal bloodshed between the gods led to chaos and wars. This is an "on the road" type of story, divided into two main plot branches, telling the stories of two Viking parties trying to escape from the threat posed by a mysterious, stone-like race called the Dredge, born as the result of gods’ experiments.

The plot of the game focuses on two seemingly unrelated characters. One of them is Vella, who lives in a small village and is to be sacrificed to a certain monster in order to ensure the safety of the remaining inhabitants of the settlement.

Undertale's story takes place in a world that was witness to a lengthy, cruel war between humans and monsters after a long period of coexistence between both races. The person in charge of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was Koji Igarashi, who previously worked on the Castlevania series over the course of many years. The game revolves around exploring a large castle, which is crawling with demons the players need to fight against, you also develop your character and gather items.

A third person action-RPG created by Elemental-Labs - an independent developer. Reborn is set in an alternative, cyberpunk vision of 2188's Japan. The protagonist is called Musashi Miyamoto, and he is a futuristic equivalent of a ronin. His main enemy are the Nexus Roku corporation and its female CEO who is trying to release an ancient demon. The game world is dark, full of social inequality and rivaling cartels.

An independent retro RPG, which combines elements of a detective game and a horror. The main protagonist of Pixel Noir is trying to solve a mystery of the tragic events from a decade ago when his partner died, leading to him quitting work as a police officer, as he unjustly was sentenced to jail. After being released, he begins to work as a private detective and tries to solve minor cases, until finally, he finds a lead that might help him get the answers that have been taunting him for years.

An original action game set in a cyberpunk world and created by Dreadlocks - an independent, Czech studio. Dex mingles elements of classic platformers with role-playing mechanics; it was inspired by classic arcade titles, as well as the works of William Gibson. The game is set in Harbor Prime, where luxurious districts stand in contrast to the filth the poor live in. The player has to face a mysterious AI that has broken loose and wishes to make irreversible changes.

Our hero decides to stop the awakened evil, rescue the town’s inhabitants, and then safely return to his home.

To find the treasure, the protagonist has to gather a team of similar adventurers, and embark on the dangerous journey. The developers were mainly inspired by games such as Zero Escape or the Ace Attorney series.

Players take on the role of a small creature, symbolizing the subconscious part of the hero responsible for his self-preservation instinct, and their task is to influence the actions of the sleepwalking Bob so that he can safely return to his bed.
