Second part of White Day series initiated in 2001 with survival horror of the same name. After several years, the title received a remake entitled White Day: A Labyrinth Named School, and just before its debut on PC and PlayStation 4, White Day 2: Swan Song was revealed. The game is not a direct continuation, but a prequel, the action of which takes place six years before the events shown in the original. Players learn the fate of students trapped in a haunted school at night.

The protagonist, searching for her lost daughter, is led to a grim mansion that hides a dark secret. In Don’t Knock Twice, the action is presented from the first-person perspective, while the gameplay is focused on exploration of the vast house in search of carefully hidden hints as well as fighting encountered opponents with the use of various items.

We play as a person who got stuck in a haunted house, just like the characters in the movies. To survive, we will have to discover the house's secret and find out what creatures want to kill us. Gameplay in Paranormal Activity: The Lost Soul is based on the standard formula used in many other horror adventure games.

The game combines a dramatic struggle with exploratory elements in locations with a partially open structure.

However, a new studio, Far From Home, decided to pick-up the project and lead it to a stable release. The player assumes the role of an unidentified hero, who wakes up one night in a suburban home without having any recollection of the events of the last few days.

He must survive and find a way to escape the trap before his oxygen supply runs out. We explore underwater locations, fighting aggressive animals and solving occasional puzzles.
