In Cooking Simulator, a player assumes the role of a chef working at a restaurant, who has to carry out all the duties resulting from his job. Their responsibilities include preparation of various meals - one can stick to the recipes or experiment a bit. The latter option involves combining ingredients as one sees fit, choosing from vegetables, meat, and fish.

Thief Simulator combines elements of stealth-action titles, adventure games and simulators. The player takes on the role of a thief, and their "job" is to steal valuables from various places. Money obtained after selling the stolen goods on the black market can be spent on special gadgets. One is also capable of constructing their own household and installing various security systems. The place can be afterwards put to a test, by leaving it for other players to rob.

This is the debut from the independent developer Squad. The game is an unusual simulator requiring the player to develop their own space program from scratch. Kerbal Space Program combines features of many genres, but the most important part here is an extensive ship editor, which allows the player to design and build their own, unique spacecraft. The ship is then supposed to fly and land safely on a moon of the Kerbin planet.

Another unusual simulation game and the debut production by indie studio Sunken Places, developed for VR headgear. In Classroom Aquatic you play as a diver, who is also an exchange student in an underwater dolphin school. As everybody knows, dolphins are highly intelligent, so tests are not much of a problem for them. Not so for you, so in order not to make a fool of yourself, you have to sneakily glance at you classmates' tests and copy the right answers.

The player assumes the role of a plane crash survivor who struggles to remain alive on one of the uninhabited islands of the Pacific. Unlike most games of this genre, this production is focused not only on the exploration of the island itself, but it also encompasses the ocean floor around it. Both areas are randomly generated before each game.

Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator tells the story of a lonely father, who along with his daughter, moves to a sleepy town Maple Bay. Soon after their arrival, it turns out that all the males in the neighborhood have lived lives similar to that of the protagonist - he decides to arrange a date with one of them.

Demolish & Build Company 2017 casts the player in the role of a company owner who both builds and demolishes various structures. Gameplay as such was based on two pillars here - destroying buildings and constructing new ones in their place in order to rent the new buildings.
