The player traverses an extensive, open world - the game is non-linear and the player is free to explore and look for subsequent clues.

Again, the player takes on the role of John Yesterday; as for the plot, it was divided into two timelines. Thus the player, familiar with present-day events, is taken back to the era of the Spanish Inquisition. In terms of game mechanics, the game follows the pattern of its predecessor.

It was never determined what caused the incident.

During one of the school trips the class of the protagonist is imprisoned on a tropical island.

The main protagonist of the game is Ian - an ex-soldier, who for years has been locked in prison and subjected to mysterious experiments that resulted in him acquiring supernatural abilities that enabled him to control human minds and use telekinesis.

The title was developed by Polish studio Pentacle, whose team members have worked on titles such as The Witcher or Call of Juarez. The player is in control of a man whose family got kidnapped by a psychopath.
