A multiplayer game with MOBA elements from the Finnish Supercell studio, set in a universe of one of the mobile bestsellers – Clash of Clans. Same as there, we play as a ruler whose ambitions go beyond the borders of his country. Gameplay of Clash of Royale comes down to taking part in online skirmishes with other players to overthrow the opposing king. Battles are fought in very simplified form and take place on small arenas, which fit entirely on the smartphone’s or tablet’s screen. During the battles, we send offensive units along set paths, while also making sure to secure our own domain with various spells and defensive units and buildings. The mechanics are complemented by card game features, and the time between fights is spent on collecting the strongest possible deck of cards, each representing the respective units and actions (e.g. casting spells).

A dynamic online shooter game, often referred to as a mobile CS. Critical Ops was made by Finnish studio Critical Force Entertainment, known for a similar production - Critical Strike portable. The game is available for free, but features optional microtransactions; only purely cosmetic items can be bought for real-world money. The gameplay consists of battles involving anti-terrorist and terrorist forces, taking place on dedicated maps. You can use a wide range of firearms and additional equipment. Just like in Counter Strike: Global Offensive, gear can be bought in the in-game store for the money you earn in battle. The battles can involve up to 20 players divided into two teams, who have opposite goals. Critical Ops boasts high-quality 3D visuals, an interesting level design, a well-thought microtransactions system, and expansive support for e-sports events.

A strategy card game set in the universe of a well-known RPG series that has been developed since 1994 by Bethesda Softworks. In terms of game mechanics, The Elder Scrolls: Legends takes after the competing Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and the gameplay comes down to dueling with a self-built deck of cards representing heroes, equipment, spells, skills etc. The game combines storytelling elements and characters known from previous installment of the series, such as the legendary Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, as well as The Elders Scrolls Online.

The Elder Scrolls: Heroes of Skyrim is an expansions to the The Elder Scrolls: Legends card game from Bethesda Softworks. The expansion introduces over 150 new cards with characters and monsters from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, with Aela the Huntress, J’Zargo, Delphine, and dragon Alduin and Paarhurnax being among them. Heroes of Skyrim, however, introduces not only new cards, but also new gameplay mechanics. Dragons, for example, are available for decks of all attributes and most of them rewards us for decks made of various reptiles. This add-on also adds the famous Shouts to the base game. They have three power levels. The more we use them, the more powerful they get. Compantion cards is the last thing on the change list. They work as a modification of the Change ability take the form of a beast after a rune is destroyed. The Elder Scrolls: Heroes of Skyrim introduce a couple of new themes for the game, like College of Winterhold or Civil War.

A card logic game set in the fantasy universe of Azeroth, known from the Warcraft franchise. The game was developed by Blizzard Entertainment company, who mention the cult card game Magic: The Gathering as one of their major inspirations. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft lets you pick one of the nine available character classes and build you own deck of cards, which you can use in battles against the AI (tutorials) or living opponents (duels, tournaments). Gameplay mechanics are based on a set of easy to learn rules. Victory is rewarded with new cards. The game is based on free-to-play model with optional microtransactions, which means that although you can play Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft for free, some elements require payment.
Shadowverse: Wonderland Dreams (iOS)

Shadowverse: Wonderland Dreams is the fifth DLC for the 2016 collector's card game Shadowverse that was developed by the Japanese studio Cygames. The expansion does not introduce any gameplay changes, but comes with 104 new cards among which we will find neutral cards and those that are exclusive to each of the seven available classes. All of the new cards refer to classic fairy tales and fantasy stories like Don Quixote, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, The Wizard of Oz, and many others. Wonderland Dreams also allows us to create a completely new and previously unavailable deck of cards.

The second installment in a spin-off subseries belonging to the Total War franchise, designed mainly for mobile devices. Both titles were created by a separate development team working under Creative Assembly. In contrast to the original game, this one focuses entirely on online gameplay and PvP competition. The game takes you back to 10th century. You become a leader of a small country, who has to take care of its development and security. Your goal is to conquer new lands and turn them into bustling, productive terrains. The game offers expanded strategic gameplay, allowing you to not only construct buildings, gather resources, and expand your army, but also use diplomacy, spies, and intrigues against your allies and foes alike. In terms of visuals, unlike the previous edition, this one looks more akin to a full-fledged Total War game.

Co-developed by Steve Howse and Thorntree Studios, an arcade game resembling the popular mobile and browser hit Agar.io. During the game you are in control of a small snake which grows by eating bright points. Apart from yours, there are other snakes on the map and in order to win, you have to eat what remains of the bigger ones. The only problem is that they die only if they touch other creatures with their heads, so your objective is to maneuver your snake in a way that will make others run into you. This can be achieved with a number of techniques. There is no final purpose to the game, so you can play till the Earth stops turning. Similarly to the aforementioned production by M28 studio, Slither.io features minimalistic visuals. Even though they are simple, they still can give an ample scope for showing your brains and skill.

A free-to-play (with optional microtransactions) mobile war strategy game developed by Machine Zone, the studio known for Game of War: Fire Age. Arnold Schwarzenegger himself is the face of Mobile Strike. The game features an armed global conflict set in the near future. Gameplay focuses on multiplayer experience, which is split into two major layers. The first one is base management, where you gather resources, research new technologies, construct buildings and defensive structures, as well as train your army. The other layer features battles fought against other users. In combat you can use several types of units – starting from infantry through tanks to helicopters. All online matches take place on the same server, and comprise a single, huge meta game. Players can make alliances with one another and together fight rivaling groups for world dominance.

A mobile online real-time strategy game developed by Wargaming Group, the creators of World of Tanks. The game uses a free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions. In Gods and Glory the player is taken to a fantasy world split by war. The gameplay is based on two pillars: the development of the main protagonist and managing the country that is gaining power. Player must not only unlock new abilities and gather better equipment, but secure his capital city as well. The main attraction of the game are the real-time battles. During them the player can use special powers provided by six deities that guard the universe. He must also expand his nation, improve technology and gradually transform his country into a worldwide empire. It is also possible to forge alliances with neighboring countries controlled by other players. Gods and Glory features cartoonish 2D graphics, music composed exclusively for the game and dubbed dialogues.

First DLC add-on for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, enriching this online collectible card game from Blizzard with an extensive story-based campaign for single player mode. Game is played on a specially prepared interactive board and the plot is set in the titular Naxxramas necropolis, known from the World of Warcraft game. When traversing five districts of the city we encounter completely new bosses, such as spider Maexxna or an undead monster called Loatheb. To defeat the antagonists armed with powerful special abilities, the expansion introduces a set of completely new cards, representing, among others, new skills. What is worth noting, cards gained in the course of the campaign can be used also during online matches in the Arena. For the best players there is also the special Heroic mode, offering much more of a challenge, as well as a new card back to our collection in reward.
Hearthstone: Journey to Un'Goro (iOS)

Another official expansion to the free-to-play card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment. This time the developers send us to the unexplored forest of the Un’Goro crater, which is inhabited by intriguing, but also very dangerous species of fauna and flora. We follow the team of explorers led by Elise Starseeker, encountering mighty dinosaurs, wild elementals, carnivorous plants and many other interesting organisms. Add-on introduced 135 new cards, a new keyword (skill) called Adapt, and a new card type (Task), as well as a board with an Un’Goro crater theme and a card back fossil. Developers also implemented another group of minions, consisting of Elementals. It consists not only of magical creatures from this expansion, but also some older cards.

Shadowverse is a free-to-play collectible card game with microtransactions system developed and published by Japanese studios – Cygames. Shadowverse plays similarly to other games representing this genre – the gameplay builds on card duels with the AI or other players. Players get at their disposal seven character classes, each featuring a unique skillset. One’s task during a duel is to reduce the other player's life points to zero by playing cards representing monsters and spells. Another feature, which distinguishes Shadowverse from similar games, is its "Evolve" game mechanic, which allows players to grant their cards bonus stats and effects at the cost of evolution points purchased for a given amount of gold that players receive at the beginning of each turn. Sometimes, these evolution points can unlock completely new abilities. The game also introduces the so-called Amulets - cards played in the opponent’s area, providing a player who played them with passive effects until the Amulet is removed.

Battle Bay is an online action game with MOBA elements, developed for mobile platforms by Rovio studio, known for the immensely popular Angry Birds franchise. Battle Bay is focused entirely on multiplayer, in which two five-member teams fight. Each of the players controls a motorboat, chosen from an array of models, which in practice serves as classes. The players can choose weapons that suit their style – different kinds of cannons, torpedoes, and grenades are available. Battle Bay offers a great variety of combat tactics. So both the fans of frontal attacks, and those more keen on subtle approach will find something for themselves. The game is complemented by a system typical for the genre that allows for upgrade of the boats. Extensive social features are also available.

A unique online game developed by M28 studio. We start as a single cell and must devour other cells or granules lying on the map to grow bigger. However, with increased size comes decreased speed, and we lose mass when we are idle. This means we must remain mobile and look for food, but also avoid contact with viruses the can be bound on map. The game gets even more complicated with the option of splitting a cell into two (up to sixteen) to increase the speed. The problem is that our unified avatar has to be 10% bigger than its prey, and after splitting each part must have 30% mass more than the cells it wants to eat. All of this is presented with very simple, if not minimalistic, visuals

A mobile adaptation of a popular board game by Uwe Rosenberg, developed by the German Digidiced. Similarly to the original, the gameplay boils down to a struggle between two persons competing for the title of the owner of the most profitable port in the eponymous French city. The game is turn-based and involves proper infrastructure management, buying and selling buildings, as well as trading supplies. Le Havre: The Inland Port allows you to play against the artificial intelligence or living opponents (in hot seat mode or via the Internet). The gameplay is asynchronous, so we can compete with several rivals at the same time. The title offers relatively simple graphics, inspired to a large extent by the board original.
Hearthstone: Whispers of the Old Gods (iOS)

Another official DLC to the popular card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft developed by studio Blizzard. The plot of the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion focuses on the eponymous creatures that awakened after sleeping for thousands of years. It adds the characters of Yogg-Saron, Y’Shaarj, N’Zoth and C’Thun to the game. In addition to these very powerful characters, in the set there are also support cards with cultists who boost statistics of the aforementioned heroes. An update that changes the main game is also a vital part of the expansion – it divides the previous game model into two formats: the Standard and Wild. The latter is the classic game mode and the former limits the possibility of creating cards only to the ones that were released in the current or previous years. The classic and basic cards remain with no limits.
Hearthstone: One Night in Karazhan (iOS)

Another expansion to the blockbuster digital card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft by the Blizzard company. The add-on One Night in Karazhan introduces new adventure, in which we are invited to a great party organized by wizard Medivh in the titular tower. We meet various prominent people, like the majordomo Moroes, against whom obviously we can duel. All of this to find the host who has mysteriously vanished at the beginning of the party. Expansion does not offer any ground-shaking novelties, with the biggest one being introduction of a pack of 45 completely new cards. It also presents players with previously unseen board of Karazhan tower and enhances gameplay with portals, which warp time and space to allow for summoning of random minions. Finally, there are more class-specific challenges that enable us to acquire special cards.

An online strategy game from the Bohemian studio Trickster Art, in which we take part in a global cyberwar of hackers. We choose a country to side with, and then hack the networks of its opponents, while also developing our web infrastructure and prevent other hackers from attacking it. Gameplay consist of several missions, in which we break into computer systems, which requires using various tools, programs, viruses etc. It gets more complicated as we progress through the game, meaning we have a lot of freedom in fulfilling ours tasks. The game lets us either go with cheeky break-ins or act discreetly and undetected. Unlike similar games, Hackers offers good-looking visuals, with the whole infrastructure consisting of many three-dimensional models, which represent certain modules of the system.
