Mobile Windows is in many ways similar to its predecessor from PCs – which unquestionably rules on the computer market – but it’s unable to come out of the shadow of its rivals: Android and iOS. The result of such situation is relatively small number of games being created for Windows Phone.

A sandbox platform game by indie studio Re-Logic, sometimes called the 2D version of the popular Minecraft. There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

A game belonging to the popular tower defense genre. It's theme, however, is rather unusual, for the players' task is to protect their household against the attacking hordes of zombies. The game was developed by PopCap Games - a company popular for successful arcade-logic games, such as Peggle Deluxe or Bejeweled. In Plants vs Zombies, the levels are made of paths along which the zombies are coming. The player's task is to secure each of those paths.

A surrealistic arcade game from the Polish Evil Indie Games studio, set in an alternate version of the year 1994. It shows a grim, retrofuturistic vision of future, as imagined in the 70’s. In the age of a totalitarian regime that tries to break all opposition, we play as an ordinary clerk, who is given the task of delivering a message to someone known as the Ice Queen.

The game was developed by an Italian studio The Fox Software, which specializes in this genre - it is popular mainly for such games as Ico Soccer for Nintendo DS or Throw In for PCs; the latter being a remake of the classic title Kick Off 2. The game focuses on delivering an arcade experience and is played from a classic aerial view. The player does not have to get accustomed to using many buttons.

The character will automatically move to the right side of the screen all the time, and our interaction is limited to controlling the jet backpack. The difficulty results from the fact that along the way there are a lot of obstacles waiting for us, with which encountering ends in death.

All the plants, wildlife and humans were replaced by robots. The player assumes the role of one such robot, wrongfully sent to a junkyard. Once back in town, the protagonist discovers the existence of a conspiracy aiming to murder its leader.

In Spellcrafter you assume the role of a hero representing one of three playable classes (Human, Necromancer, or Elf), and set out on a journey to explore a world full of magic. On your way you get to earn experience and gold, interact with non-player characters, and undertake various missions that often put you up against tough moral decisions.

The action takes place in the surreal world of dreams, and its protagonist is a man named Bob, who suffers from narcolepsy. Players take on the role of a small creature, symbolizing the subconscious part of the hero responsible for his self-preservation instinct, and their task is to influence the actions of the sleepwalking Bob so that he can safely return to his bed.

Despite the warnings received from his predecessor, he decided to give it a try and stay at the restaurant overnight.

The new owner intends to use the deadly past of the place as a marketing trick which will attract many customers.

In Badland we take control over unspecified creature and our task is to lead it through levels filled with various obstacles and traps. However, the game is complicated by the fact that we are gradually joined by more of our hero's brethren, so as the game progresses we are forced to control more and more creatures.
