Nintendo Switch is the successor of Nintendo Wii and Wii U consoles and is widely considered to be the first hybrid console on the market. It allows users to play games either at home on a big TV screen or while travelling. This is possible thanks to its revolutionary design, which combines features of both stationary and handheld consoles. It is composed of two main parts: the console unit, which is a 6.2" screen tablet based on Nvidia technology, and the docking station necessary to connect the console to a TV set. Nintendo Switch was released worldwide on March 3, 2017.

The biggest introduction that comes with the expansion is the new adventure called Trials of the Sword. It takes us to small maps where we do not have access to our previously gathered equipment and have to fight with waves of enemies. We get new pieces of equipment and useful items by defeating our enemies and exploring our surroundings. Doing so will prepare us for fights with more powerful opponents. Action December 2017

AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected is a cartoonish action-adventure game. It was developed by Aurelien Regard, creator of The Next People, and Jim Genisson, level designer of a couple of Rayman games. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected is inspired by the Japanese children cartoons, both in terms of visuals and atmosphere. The game takes us to a world where modern technology and fantastic beings collide. We play as a brave young boy who goes on various dangerous adventures during which he, along with his friends, fights with enemies. As we play, we explore the game’s world, beat the game’s platform elements, collect items, and fight with enemies. We can recruit every character we meet, including our opponents. It requires us to convince them to do so, so we will have to be really thoughtful and creative when talking with them. AWAY: Journey to the Unexpected has quite unusual but still good looking visuals. The game’s colourful world is in 3D, but all characters are 2D sprites.
