Next installment in a bestselling game series devoted to LEGO bricks and developed, as usual, by Traveller’s Tales studio. This title is Warner Bros'. response to the growing popularity of franchises like Skylanders or Disney Infinity. This is the first game in the series that uses real LEGO minifigures, which are transferred into virtual word through a special port. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the game is not much different from other titles in the series, still being a third-person action-adventure game. You play as various LEGO characters who have to stop evil Lord Vortech from annihilating humanity. The game is available for purchase in several editions devoted to different franchises. Starter pack includes figurines of Gandalf, Wyldstyle, Batman, and Batmobile. However, you can buy individual packs of characters featured in the Return to the Future franchise, LEGO Ninjago sets, DC Comics, or The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

A two-dimensional platform game, the gameplay of which references classic installments of the series. The story of the game takes place before the events told in the first installment of the series. The action of the game takes place in a fairytale realm called the Crossroads of Dream. When the world is threatened by an invasion of dark creatures called Hoodlums, the titular protagonist and his friends decide to save it. During the game the player will visit various fantasy realms, jump between numerous platforms (the action is shown from side perspective and the player can move in four directions), get past various traps, obtain new abilities and fight enemies encountered on the path. There is more than a dozen types of enemies, as well as much more powerful bosses. What's more, the game contains levels in which the protagonist mounts other creatures (for example a giant mosquito) and rides it through large areas. Cooperation mode is a novelty in the series – it allows the player to complete all levels while accompanied by up to three friends. The colorful, beautiful graphics generated by UbiArt Framework are a valuable asset to the game. Colorful locations are accompanied by neatly-animated characters and a catchy soundtrack.

Another innovative title from thatgamecompany, the authors known for the very original games such as flOw or Cloud. This time, the gameplay focuses on free exploration of your surroundings, as well as observing the changes caused by the forces of nature. In Flower, we are able to control the wind gusts, which allows us to interact with various elements of the environment. The game is divided into several different levels, between which we can watch simple introductory animations. Depending on the currently traversed zone and our progress, the game gives us various challenges that are mainly focusing on gathering the petals from titular flowers – which causes a number of changes in the game world. The developers put a lot of emphasis on using the gyroscopic functionalities of the Sixaxis controller.

Specter of Torment is a free DLC for the fan-favourite platform game Shovel Knight developed by Yacht Club Games. This time, we play as a new protagonist, the titular Specter. The expansion takes place before the events of the base game. In terms of gameplay, Specter of Torment is identical to the base game, combining the elements of a 2Dplatformer, RPG, and an action-adventure game. Once again, we observe the game from a side-scrolling perspective. We explore some new fantastic locations, solve simple environmental puzzles, and fight the enemies. However, Specter has a new move set and skill set at his disposal. Unlike his predecessor, he can climb on walls and other environmental objects, which opens new tactical possibilities for the players. The iconic shovel was replaced with a characteristic scythe.
