The seventh and final expansion to the first installment of the popular series of humoristic life simulators. The Sims: Makin’ Magic introduces magic and magic-related locations and accessories to the game. After installing the expansion, the Sims will learn how to cast spells that can impact other Sims’ feelings towards them. The spells also enable a Sim to have his revenge on a neighbor or to make daily work easier. A new location, Magic Town, was introduced in The Sims: Makin’ Magic. The inhabitants of that area train their skills in using the arcane powers, they participate in duels with other wizards and spend their free time on shopping and participating in various activities. The new currency enables the player to buy magic ingredients from which spells are crafted. The expansion offers more than 150 items and equipment, new characters, special quests, new kitchen decoration theme and other attractions.

The sixth expansion to the popular game The Sims. The base game is a humoristic life simulator in which the player takes care of virtual characters and organizes their time. The Sims: Superstar expansion enables the Sims to start a movie, model or pop star career. The mysteries of the show business are revealed to them by the assistant who sets specific objectives to achieve. A new district appears in The Sims: Superstar. In that district the player can encounter virtual versions of famous stars like Avril Lavigne, Andy Warhol, Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi and Marilyn Monroe. The progress in career is achieved by participating in activities like karaoke, studio song recordings, recording movie scenes and presenting clothes on fashion shows. The expansion introduces a fame meter that determines how recognizable the Sims are. The Sims: Superstar also offers wide variety of luxury items and accessories, as well as new ways to spend free time.

The fifth official expansion to the humoristic life simulator The Sims. In the base game the player takes care of virtual people and he organizes their daily time. The Sims: Unleashed introduces various domestic animals to the life of the Sims. The player can add dogs, cats, birds, fishes, lizards, turtles and other animals to his house. Of course, he then must take care of the new pupil and for example take a dog for a walk, change the water in the aquarium and take care of training and providing activities for the animal. An animal also introduces new troubles: destroyed furniture or pee on a chair. The animals increase the list of topics about which the Sims can talk. 5 new career paths and 50 types of jobs are introduced as well. Player’s Sim can become a veterinarian, a master chef, a fashion designer or an acrobat. 30 new buildings and objects and 125 items were added to the game. Another new option is gardening – the Sims can take care of their garden and grow various vegetables and fruits.

The fourth official expansion to The Sims. The base game is a humoristic life simulator developed by Maxis. The player takes care of virtual characters – he organizes their time, helps in developing their hobbies, decorates their home, etc. The Sims: Vacation expands the list of available options with new features – the expansion pack allows the player to send his Sims on vacation. Sims can travel to three different places: snowy mountains, sunny beach and a forest camp. Each place offers various attractions and activities. For example, at the sea a Sim can play beach ball, on the snow he can ride a snowboard and in the forest he can go fishing. The Sims: Vacation also introduces more than 120 objects, including hotels, igloo, tents and new types of furniture. The expansion offers new Sim characters, never seen before interactions and additional activities.

The third official expansion to the humoristic life simulator The Sims. In the base game the player takes care of virtual characters: he organizes their time, helps them develop their talents and takes care of the decoration of their houses. This time the developers from Maxis focused on expanding the male-female relations. The Sims: Hot Date offers a large set of new faces, hobbies and thematic objects like a picnic basket, romantic couch and a sexy bath tub. The expansion introduces a few dozen of new interactions between the Sims and new ways of using existing items. A new location appears in the expansion as well: the city center that is filled with restaurants, souvenir shops and parks to which a Sim can invite his date. Sims can meet each other on a romantic dinner with candles, at a bar or on a picnic. The player can also send a lone Sim to the city where he can find his second half.

The second expansion to the humoristic life simulator The Sims. As the title suggests, House Party offers various activities and attractions focused on parties in houses. Thanks to the new characters, actions, architecture styles, items and music, the player can organize pompous or crazy parties on which he invites Sim’s friends or neighbors. The Sims: House Party allows the player to transform the house into a Wild West ranch, an exotic island or an underground club. Each style offers different decorations and costumes that create a unique atmosphere. The player can build a dancing hall and watch as the Sims are dancing to the music. It is possible to hire waitresses and bartenders to serve the guests or to order a mechanic bull or a stripper in a cake. The Sims: House Party introduces new team plays, allowing the Sims to play together at a campsite or to play Scrabble.

The first official expansion to the humoristic life simulator The Sims. The Livin’ Large expansion pack offers new career paths like musician, journalist, hacker and even a paranormal activity specialist. Thanks to the new traits and abilities of the Sims, the player can organize their time and develop their skills in new ways. The Sims: Livin’ Large introduces many new items, architecture and decoration styles. There is more than 120 new objects available, including walls, floors, windows and NPCs. Thanks to that it is not only possible to build a villa, but a palace or a medieval castle as well. Many of the new items offer new activities, like cleaning a lamp, creating alchemy potions and shooting a rocket. The enriched neighborhood screen allows us to select up to five areas, thanks to which the player can create and control am much as five times more families than in the original.
