Vertigo is a continuation of Spinout, which was released in March 2008 exclusively on PlayStation Portable. This product combines three different genres, being partly a logical game, racing game and requiring quick and accurate dexterity decisions.

In the course of the game, the player takes control of Xorber, which is a huge ball moving on platforms suspended in space. The game consists in bringing the object safely to the starting point, avoiding the loss of balance and obstacles along the route. Each board has several ways to reach the target, and finding alternative crossings and shortcuts is the sole responsibility of the player.

Vertigo includes four single player modes - Arcade, Practice, Time Trial and Career. Regardless of the mode of your choice, there are 54 levels to overcome, located in nine virtual worlds. These regions differ not only in the appearance of the boards, but also in the nature of the obstacles encountered. In addition to single player modes, there is also a fully fledged multiplayer for four people. You can choose between Time Trial, Xorb Football, Xorb Bowling and Death Match.

The fun is diversified, among other things, by the possibility of collecting power-ups, thanks to which a controlled ball acquires unique features for a few moments. In addition, this object can be upgraded by modifying, for example, its shell. This is quite an important issue, as a badly adjusted ball can deform as a result of contact with objects in the environment. The struggles are observed in a fully three-dimensional and carefully designed environment.
