The game was created mainly for girls from 8 to 14 years old. We solve the typical problems of women in this particular age range by taking care of both the appearance of the controlled character, as well as dating and meeting friends. Daedalic Entertainment, a German company known for its two-dimensional adventure A New Beginning, is responsible for the preparation and release of the game. Dating Day was created exclusively for Nintendo mobile console owners.

The game has some top-down goals, which we can try to meet. Playing the role of a teenager, we make an agreement with the boys. The success of subsequent matches depends on the number of points scored. You can receive them for solving more or less complex mini-games. They can be based on both tasks requiring gray cell exertion, as well as dexterity struggles. The game monitors our actions on an ongoing basis, adjusting the number of points received to current achievements.

Taking care of the teenager's appearance is equally important. We are talking about make-up as well as the right elements of clothing, which can be purchased as the game develops. Some items become available only in the next phase of the game.

The Dating Day visual setting is very simple. However, the manufacturer made sure that the control of the character and the performance of various activities does not cause major problems. It is also possible to use the touchscreen of the DS console.
