Transportando o Brasil belongs to the increasingly popular type of transport simulation. The title was produced by an independent Brazilian development studio Dynamic Games, which decided to translate ideas from such series as 18 Wheels of Steel, Rig'n'Roll or Euro Truck Simulator into South American reality.

Like competing products, the player takes on the role of a TIR driver who runs a small transport company at the same time. Its task is to transport cargo within a specified time limit, along a pre-determined route and in accordance with traffic regulations.

Transport generally takes place between large cities, but not only on motorways, but also on sidewalks, whose network has been mapped on the basis of authentic satellite maps. Just like a real truck driver, the player must be careful that the load reaches the receiver intact. While driving, he or she may also encounter many road incidents, get a weight check or be punished with a fine by the police.

The economic aspect is not particularly extensive. The execution of the course involves a specific payment, reduced, among other things, by the amount of any delay or damage to the cargo. As an entrepreneur, however, the player has to take into account certain costs, such as the price of fuel, taxes, various fees or the need to buy a new truck tractor.

As befits a simulation, the Transportando o Brasil offers a quite advanced physics driving model. Driving a truck requires anticipation of the situation on the road and an early response. Variable weather conditions also have a significant impact on visibility and grip, among other things.

The visual setting of the game does not differ from the standards set by Euro Truck Simulator. A dozen or so available models of trucks have been reproduced with attention to the details of the appearance of the bodies and technical parameters. Noteworthy are the picturesque sceneries in which the tours were made. The player can stop the vehicle and leave the cabin to look around.
