Hidden Mysteries: Titanic - Secrets of the Fateful Voyage, released on PC, Wii and NDS, is the fourth installment of a series of casual adventures by Gunnar Games. Players again have the opportunity to show perceptiveness and the ability to think logically.

Plot

As the title suggests, Hidden Mysteries: Titanic - Secrets of the Fateful Voyage was set on board the famous giant cruise ship. The story is divided into 15 chapters and the player follows the story of a young British woman, Margaret, who, together with her family, intends to start a new life in America. During the journey, the main character discovers numerous secrets of the ship, its crew and passengers.

Mechanics

The game is a combination of logical puzzles, the key to which is the proper use of items stored in the inventory, and puzzles such as "hidden objects" and simple logical-arcade mini-games. The developers decided to simplify the task as much as possible, allowing players to freely avoid too difficult or monotonous tasks. The course of events is mainly determined by conversations with independent characters, leading to one of the two possible endings.

Technical aspects

As for the graphics and the audio, Hidden Mysteries: Titanic - Secrets of the Fateful Voyage doesn't differ from the standards set by previous editions of the series (e.g. Hidden Mysteries: The White House and Hidden Mysteries: Buckingham Palace). Noteworthy are locations with hand-drawn backgrounds and nicely presented, animated cut-scenes.
