Die Hard Trilogy on PC and PS1 is a dynamic action game based on the famous Bruce Willis film series, known in Poland as the Glass Trap. The production is basically three separate games, referring to individual parts of the films and combines elements of TPP shooting, rail-shooter and car game.

The first part - Die Hard, whose plot refers to the cult, first part of the film, is a shooting from the perspective of a third person. Controlling John McClane, we move to the skyscraper Nakatomi Plaza, where our brave policeman fights the first battle with terrorists. Exploring the next floors of the building, we eliminate enemies using a gun and grenades, trying to reach the imprisoned hostages. The release of all the people detained by terrorists allows the game to continue on the next floor of the skyscraper.

The second part of the trilogy - Die Hard 2: Die Harder draws on SEGI's cult "viewfinder" in the style of Virtua Cop or The House of the Dead. The plot takes us to the airport, where we observe the action from McClane's eyes. The screen moves automatically to selected locations, and the player must use a gun to eliminate enemies appearing successively in them, while being careful of stray civilians. During the game it is possible to get a better weapon, characterized by greater accuracy and power of destruction.

The third part - Die Hard with a Vengeance puts us behind the wheel of a car, which our protoplanist moves around the city in search of explosives put on by a terrorist. This is where driving skills count, as the merciless clock constantly counts down the time until the next bombs explode. If we don't make it, the game is automatically over. An additional difficulty are the passers-by on the route of the vehicle, on which we have to be careful, avoiding the scenes straight from the infamous Carmageddon.

Individual episodes of the game can be started independently of each other, choosing your favorite type of fun. The game's 3D graphics look best especially in the racing part, where the limited interior of the skyscraper or the territory of the airport has been replaced by detailed and nicely reproduced streets of the city.
