Archaica: The Path Of Light is an independent logic game for PC / Windows inspired by Chromatron and Aargon. In it, we have to save the humanity from extinction. The production was developed by a Polish studio called TwoMammoths and is the first project of the duo of Turecki brothers: Piotr and Marcin.
To save the mankind from annihilation, we must start special defense mechanisms. However, it can only be done by directing a beam of light through a forgotten path of the ancients. In practice, it boils down to operating with mirrors in a way that makes them reflect light into magic crystals that provide energy to machines. The task isn’t as simple as it seems, though, for we have to deal with a number of more or less demanding issues connected to moving stone blocks, opening gates, and the like. Moreover, various secrets are hidden in the available levels, including story details that can be uncovered by directing a beam of light at obelisks with hieroglyphs.
The story campaign features five lands divided into several levels (from 5 to the maximum of 9 sets in every location). All of them are accessed via a world map, thanks to which we can go back to previously completed stages, if necessary.
