An extensive arcade game, in which the players take on the role of the eponymous characters - Asterix and Obelix. The heroes first appeared in 1959 and have seen, among other things, several full-fledged movie adaptation and a whole host of games (both on PC and consoles) since then. The described game does not differ significantly - combat plays a key role here. It is worth mentioning the parallel console versions (all Next-Gens and GameBoy Advance).

The game consists of six large levels. The players have to complete about fifty tasks in total. The basic problem they have to deal with is the disposal of Roman troops. Many times they have to fight several dozen warriors at the same time. As a curiosity it is worth mentioning that the player simultaneously controls both characters. The option of switching between them or transferring the control to the AI partner was abandoned.

The game was developed in full 3D. The visuals resemble such titles as Woody Woodpecker or Starfox Adventures. The game's interface has been simplified as much as possible. Only the most important information is displayed on the screen.
