Lucy: The Eternity She Wished For PC

Lucy: The Eternity She Wished For, released on PC, is a visual novel created by Modern Visual Arts Laboratory. Originally, the production was released in 2010 in Korea, where it was warmly welcomed. Encouraged by the success, the developers raised money on Kickstarter and released the game in its remastered version all over the world.

Plot

Lucy: The Eternity She Wished For is a visual novel - the gameplay is practically only about experiencing the story, featuring, among other things, themes related to humanity.

The action takes place in the future, in a world where androids have become a part of human life. Robots accompany us during many activities and aren't anything unusual. The game tells the story of a boy who found one such android in the junkyard. It turns out to be completely different from the others because it behaves like a human being and seems to have feelings.

The creators of Lucy: The Eternity She Wished For have incorporated a few interesting characters into the story. The main character is Lucy Valentine, the titular android. In addition, we are accompanied by Dr. Gears, our best friend, a repairman from a local antique shop, and PIM-023, a robot caring for the elderly.

Technical aspects

Like other visual novel games, Lucy: The Eternity She Wished For displays images with lines of text. The whole project was realized in manga style, and the graphics are complemented by an atmospheric soundtrack and Japanese or Korean voice-overs.
