Lifeline: Whiteout is a mobile adventure game. This is a premium game, i.e. without microtransactions, developed by studio 3 Minute Games, the creators of all previous installments of the series.

Story

The game's scenario revolves around a man known as V. Adams. One day he wakes up in the middle of a snowstorm, in a distant and frosty corner of the Earth, not remembering how landed in this place. On his own, he has no chance of survival, but fortunately, he manages to access a text messaging system. With its help, he makes contact with us.

Our task is to give him advice and support so that Adams can survive and find his way back to civilization. We will try to help him discover the truth about his past and the events that led him to the present situation.

Mechanics

The mechanics of the game are practically identical as in previous installments. In practice, we get a gamebook in which our smartphone or tablet transforms into a device for communication with V. Adams as he fights for his life. He regularly sends us messages to which we must respond by choosing one of several answers. In this way, we indirectly influence his actions, helping him come up with ways to survive, as well as giving him emotional support.

The game is dynamic and non-linear, and our decisions significantly influence the fate of Adams and further development of the plot. The campaign offers several alternative endings, so we can complete it many times, each time reaching a different version of the story, with new adventures, problems and challenges.
