Massive Online Battle Arena game maintained in the convention of a two-dimensional platformer . Guided by bizarre robots, cosmic monkeys and other crazy heroes, players have the task of defeating enemies.
Awesomenauts is a game developed by Romino Games, a Dutch development studio that previously created a well-received RTS, Swords & Soldiers. This time around, the developers, who are graduates of Utrecht School of Arts, decided to create a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena title, inspired by the cartoons from the 80s of the 20th century.
Awesomenauts is a 2D platformer game. The players have to defeat their enemy by controlling all kinds of bizarre characters, such as monkeys with jetpacks, frogs with tomahawks, weird robots, and the like. The game also does not lack humorous elements in the form of characters’ accessories and skills.
As far as visuals are concerned, Awesomenauts is distinguished by colorful and cartoonish graphics. As befits a MOBA game, it utilizes a number of online features that allow the players to compete against other gamers from all around the world.
