Save Jesus PC

Save Jesus is a simple two-dimensional puzzle game. It is the responsibility of a small team at Almighty Games, which fans of independent games may know from Zombie Ballz.

Story

The title is loosely inspired by the life of Jesus Christ, although it tells a completely fictionaly story. The game presents an impostor from the future who impersonated Caesar and intends to use his subordinates from the Roman Empire to kill the title character and his friends. Our task is to prevent the crime.

Mechanics

Playing Save Jesus involves manipulating elements of the environment in such a way that the ball rolling on the board avoids the motionless figure of Jesus, killing Roman legionaries instead. Ordinary squares symbolizing earth can be removed with a single click, creating a new track for the deadly boulder. Some elements of small boards are movable (e.g. balance beams), and there is no shortage of additional attractions such as explosives. In this way, we can drop a boulder on someone's head, knock down a footbridge above or use the explosion to send the ball to a distant place.

A total of fifty levels await those interested. Additionally, on each of them, there are stars influencing the final result.

Technical aspects

Save Jesus is a low-budget game, which can be seen at every step. However, the simple visuals does not interfere with gameplay and fulfills their purpose - they are colorful and funny, as is the whole game.
