Command & Conquer: Red Alert is the classical game of the real-time strategy genre. Secret experiments cause the time to split into two alternative realities. Now, the Russian tanks destroy cities one after another, while the Allies cower in their bases. The spy activity increases, dangerous mine fields lurk everywhere, and the scientists of both sides work on new, bizarre war technologies.

The game is characterized by fast-paced action made possible by clear interface which allows for easy control over units and buildings. The multiplayer mode allows for one-on-one battles via the Internet, while up to 8 players can play via LAN.
