World League Soccer 98 PC

World League Soccer 98 is a virtual football simulation for the 1998 World Cup. Unfortunately, EA Sports (publisher of the competitor's World Cup 98) bought an exclusive official license to use the real names of players or companies, which does not make them aware of in this program.

In total, you will find here more than 190 different teams from nine leagues of the world (several leading European, American and Japanese leagues). In addition to the championship mode, in the World League Soccer 98 we can also play in the following modes: friendly match, champion's cup, create our own league (from among the available teams), organize any tournament (e.g. we mix national teams and club teams), as well as training in which we improve our individual control skills over virtual players.

The authors of the full version have tried to implement a small seed of coaching options (team formation, line-up, etc.), support for graphical accelerators, the ability to choose the weather conditions in which we play a given game (rain, heat, snow, etc.), or even the option of any setting the wall during the game. The picture is complemented by an intuitive control system, vivid comments on the current situation (played by the Peter Brackley - Ray Wilkins duo), several camera settings (numerous repetitions of the most spectacular games, gates and burned ones) and a quite pleasant graphic design. There was also a special editor, which allows you to modify some elements of the game.
