Ticket to Ride is an electronic version of the popular board game, prepared by Alan Moon and dealing with the subject of railroading. Players travel by train and collect train cards.

Mechanics

The rules of the game are largely the same as the original. The field of action is the map of the United States. It shows the cities connected by railway tracks. Before entering the game, players receive tickets which contain information about connections between two randomly selected cities. The task is to follow the route connecting these metropolises, visiting all the locations along the way. Naturally, the details of your journey should be kept strictly confidential from other participants.

The game is enriched, among other things, by using train cards, which are drawn in every turn. In addition, you get pawns that symbolize the wagons. The game can end in several different ways - after exhaustion of the available wagons or the completion of the whole route, which was read from the ticket. The number of points scored at the end depends on many factors. Particularly rewarded is, among other things, long, uninterrupted journeys. Ticket to Ride requires from the player first of all strategic planning in order to achieve the final victory.

Game modes

This production offers the possibility of playing alone, but incomparably more interesting is the multiplayer. If you have a game on a shared screen, there may be four players on the board. When you choose to play online, this limit is increased to five people.

Technical aspects

Ticket to Ride has a quite simple graphic design, which consists mainly of various screens of statistics and very stylish, drawn images. The PlayStation 4 version uses Playlink technology, allowing the phone to be used as a private second screen.
