The beginning of the twentieth century is a time for mankind to experiment with artificial intelligence. Robots, droids, constructed with its help, were not to be used in combat, their main purpose was to replace people working in the harshest and most dangerous conditions. Unfortunately, only in theory - reality turned out to be quite different. A terrorist organisation calling itself 'Day of Reckoning' has made itself known. Creating killing machines from droids did not cause her any major problems. Not only did the members of the organization get to the highest positions thanks to them, but they started to use them for bloody assassination of innocent people. The huge number of victims grew every day, something had to be done. States harassed by terrorism decided to unite, an anti-terrorist coalition was formed. The only problem was how to stop the deadly droids. Therefore, a special version was constructed, whose only goal was to defeat robots-terrorists. There was no time for further research, the number of victims was constantly increasing. Operation "DEactivation" has been started.

DEactivation is a tactical strategy with action elements, divided into 15 levels. In each of them, the player takes control of one of the droid troops and with his help fights against robots belonging to a terrorist organisation. The aim of each mission is to prevent an act of terrorism by inactivating enemy machines and releasing innocent people. After each successful mission, the player receives the appropriate amount of points, which depends on various factors: how many allied droids died in combat, how many enemies were destroyed, how many people were saved, etc. You can buy new robots or modernize old ones. There are many types of droid parts to choose from, so you can create a variety of robots.
