RalliSport Challenge 2 is the natural follow-up to the critically acclaimed RSC which was released in 2002. In the same way as the trend setting predecessor changed many players' viewpoint about graphic quality and genuine game play pleasure in racing games, will RalliSport Challenge 2 surpass the already high expectations.

RalliSport Challenge 2 is not only about more cars, tracks or game modes, but much more. The environments have been made even more realistic in order to further deepen the game experience. More weather and particle effects have been added to further and correctly visualize the rough and dangerous reality that rally driving is.

The physics engine has been rewritten from scratch to even better simulate the cars in a realistic way. Every aspect of a rally car's function and behaviour is now accurately simulated and will be perceived as more true to real life. Combine this with an advanced surface system that provides impulses for things such as uneven material, patches of water and holes in the road, and the experience becomes total. The various settings on the cars have also been expanded to satisfy the hardest core of rally enthusiasts. In addition, the cars can now also be dented and destroyed into small, small pieces.

Another important piece of news is that RalliSport Challenge 2 will be able to be played on-line via Xbox Live support and as the first racing game ever it'll also include Microsoft's XSN support. This means that players can set up their own tournaments from which the results will be tracked on web servers, all in favour of the stats crazy sport gamers.
