Sports 12 September 2017

Another annual entry in the popular soccer series by Konami. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 develops the ideas from the previous game. Real Touch +, a new system that is responsible for how players handle a ball, now takes more body parts into account. Thanks to that we can see animations that are much more different from each other when players receive a ball, hit it with their heads, dribble etc. Another important change is that matches are now slower which makes the game a little more realistic. Additionally, there is also strategic dribbling which gives more control over the ball and improved set pieces. Besides classic game modes, PES 2018 also brings back Random Selection Match mode which now has more options. Also, the game offers an online co-op mode for two or three people. The graphics are much better when compared with the previous games which means that the game on particular platforms aren't that different from each other.

PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer-

Sports 23 May 2017

A mobile version of the sports game Pro Evolution Soccer 2017. The edition released for smartphones and tablets using Android and iOS was based on the popular myClub mode. The player gathers cards featuring footballers and uses them to build their dream team. The game gives an opportunity to take direct control of footballers during matches played against other users and when competing against the AI. The experience combines arcade elements with a bit of simulation and tactics. The application was created in cooperation with several large football clubs, including FC Barcelona, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. This allowed the developer to recreate the movement styles and appearances of top footballers with attention to detail (above all, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique). The game's visuals constitute its another advantage, as PES 2017 -Pro Evoluton Soccer- is one of the best-looking games of this kind available on mobile devices.

The title offers only two game modes: Exhibition Mode and MyClub. The first one allows us to play a match with one of the seven available teams, such as: Bayern, Juventus, Roma or the national teams of Brazil and France. A mobile football manager and a spin-off of the famed Pro Evolution Soccer series developed by Konami. In contrast with the poorly-received 2014 edition, which was an attempt to compete with FIFA Ultimate Team, this time we are looking at a serious sports manager which offers more than 5000 licensed players from Europe and South America. In contrast to other football managers, PES Club Manager keeps to the football side of the sport – our duties include picking a team, tactics, and training schedule, as well as transfers. We are also responsible for the development of the club’s infrastructure: building stadium improvements, club center, offices, youngling schools, scouting agency, fan-club headquarters, medical center, or training fields. When it comes to graphics, the game employs a three-dimensional match engine, known from previous major installments of the series.
