Football Manager 2018
Sports 10 November 2017
Another installment in the Football Manager series developed over the years by Sports Interactive and published by Sega. In similarity to the previous installments, the player's job is to lead a football club as a manager, who is in charge of both the team as such, and a series of side elements, such as managing a stadium or maintaining good relations with the media and the fans. The player's main goal however, is to build a good team that is capable of winning both in the league and during the most important tournaments. In order to achieve this, the player has to make use of experts that help in training the footballers, set tactics before matches, acquire new players, sell redundant ones, be prepared for inconveniencies (for instance, one of the key players gets injured), and keep the funding-related issues in mind. In Football Manager 2018, one can lead one of 2500 clubs with their origins in 50 countries. This gives over 600 thousand footballers and assistants.
A sports game described as a spiritual successor to Sensible Soccer. It was developed by Tower Studios headed by Jon Hare, former creative director of the aforementioned series and the co-founder of the once famous Sensible Software. The gameplay of Sociable Soccer is focused on fast and purely arcade football matches in which the player’s skill is the most important factor, although it is possible to make change footballers, set formation, tactics, and so on. There are over 500 clubs with over 10 thousand footballers but their surnames are slightly altered because of the lack of the FIFA license. Apart from single-player classic quick matches and leagues, the developers put great emphasis on multiplayer and social aspect. Visually, the game cannot compete with the latest football productions but it features the characteristic style and atmosphere of the classic installments of the Sensible Soccer series.

Football Manager Mobile 2018
Sports 10 November 2017
Football Manager Mobile 2018 is a special edition of Football Manager 2018 developed by Sports Interactive, designed for smartphones and tablets. Unlike its original version, the game does not allow a player to experience 3D matches, features poorer database, and simplified interface. On the other hand, the game delivers all of the most important functions. This means that a player has to come up with tactics before each match, change the players, purchase and sell players, tend to the club’s budget, and use the help offered by the talent hunters. All this makes Football Manager Mobile 2018 a much more dynamic game, perfect for e.g. a break during the work; but it also offers many possibilities, which make the game one of the most advanced applications available on the market. The game has been published by Sega and is available at a much smaller price than Football Manager 2018 and Football Manager Touch 2018.
Mutant Football League
Developed by Digital Dreams Entertainment, Mutant Football League is a spiritual successor to a 1993’s game with the same title released on Sega Mega Drive. The nuclear war, which took place years before the events presented in the game, has led to the extinction of the majority of human population. To make things even worse, the cataclysm has caused dead bodies to rise from their graves, demons to leave their underground lairs, and living creatures to mutate. The new inhabitants of the planet did not abandon numerous forms of entertainment, including the titular Mutant Football League – a parody of the American football. Player’s goal is to win a season comprising 13 matches. When conventional methods fail, one can appeal to some dirty tricks like bribing the referee. Due to the nature of this sport, the matches can be very brutal. One can command the titular mutants, aliens, animated skeletons, battle droids, and football players that came straight from hell. Players can utilize a wide arsenal of weapons (featuring knuckle-dusters, battle-axes, chainsaws, and even grenades) along with numerous special abilities. Among the peculiar features of the game, one can find the system of traps, mines, lava pools and toxic clouds ever-present on the football field. Additionally, the changing weather system affects the game with its acid rains and violent storms.
An open world sports simulator developed by Poppermost Productions - an independent Swedish team. SNOW, as simple as it sounds, focuses on skiing and snowboarding. Although the game was inspired by console series such as SSX, special emphasis was put on realism. The action takes place near Sialia mountain in the Alps, a place filled with ski slopes, hidden valleys and mountain villages. The players can compete against both the AI-controlled opponents and other players in the multiplayer mode. The gameplay is diversified with many character customization options and different kinds of equipment to choose from. The game utilizes CryEngine 3, thus the in-game locations present themselves more than satisfying and movement physics stand out with realism. The game is free-to-play with optional micro-payments.
Football Manager Touch 2018
Sports 10 November 2017
A streamlined version of Football Manager 2018 that focuses strictly on team management and tactics, leaving out the remaining elements such as media, management, or the club’s infrastructure. Nonetheless, the game plays out almost the same as the previous installments of the series – our task is to lead the chosen team to victory. Our duties include team management, transfers, choice of tactics, and training. The chosen tactics can be modified before or during the match or simply left to the AI which will simulate the whole meet. In opposition to the standard edition, which offers access to over 600 thousand players, Football Manager Touch 2018 offers a streamlined database with 190 thousand players and 2500 clubs from all around the globe

Tennis World Tour lets the players play single tennis games or to follow a career of a professional player. The title features over thirty actual sportsmen, including such superstars as Roger Federer, Gaël Monfils, Angelique Kerber, and Garbine Muguruza. Snooker Nation Championship
A snooker simulator from Cherry Pop Games, an independent studio, known for Pool Nation, and it’s reedition, Pool Nation FX. When it comes to mechanics, Snooker Nation Championship doesn’t differ much from its predecessor. For the players unaccustomed to the game itself, an accessible tutorial has been prepared, introducing the gamers to basic controls, for example, placing the balls, or applying necessary rotation. Playing solo, we can compete with AI in championships, which are comprised of elimination bout and 5 rounds of the main tournament. In multiplayer modes, we can face other players in a local mode, or take part in ranked online matches. In case of the multiplayer modes, the game allows us to set some basic parameters of the game. The players can also customize their equipment, including cues and balls. Snooker Nation Championship incorporates three-dimensional visuals and realistic physics, making the balls act exactly the same as if on a real pool table.
First person sports game, created mainly for VR goggles and developed by ZEN Studios. It is a sequel to Planet Minigolf released in 2010. This game represents very arcade approach to the popular golf, although quick fingers are not the only thing that is necessary during the game. The developers made a rather realistic physics system which means that, in order to succeed, we need practice, skills and knowledge about the game mechanics. Infinite Golf represents an unusual version of this sport because matches take place on rather unconventional fields, e.g. near a haunted house, ice land or a track made out of cardboard boxes. We can test our skills in various single and multiplayer modes. In addition to that we can also customize the appearance of our player by buying additional costumes and accessories.
FIFA Soccer: Prime Stars
A soccer management game with RPG elements developed for mobile devices, and a spin-off of the popular FIFA series by Electronic Arts. FIFA Soccer: Prime Stars is a typical management game, whose mechanics have been greatly simplified, and the gameplay consists mostly of gathering and developing your team members. After recruiting the soccer players, you have to lead them through training sessions, which helps them develop their abilities and level up. The next step is planning out the strategies for the matches, which you can see thanks to a realistic 3D engine. Despite the low-budget feel and a typical free-to-play model, the game boasts official licenses by five leading European leagues, which means it includes real teams and team members of the 2015-2016 season.
An unusual sports game, in which two teams play a game resembling volleyball, the difference being that instead of their hands they are using pistols, rifles and shotguns to set the ball over the net. Matches are played on small maps characterized by their futuristic stylistics. Gameplay primarily focuses on player’s skill and sharp eye. Gunsport takes place in the city of Neo Tokyo. The city is kept in a gloomy cyberpunk stylistics. This impression is deepened by the game’s pixel art graphics. Matches are played in either 2 vs. 2 or 1 vs. 1 mode. Player’s job is to flip the angular ball into the opponent's half of the field by shooting it with firearms. The number of shots you can fire is limited, which forces you to think tactically. In the case of 2 vs. 2 matches, each team consists of an attacker and a defender, and the latter cannot move from their place. The more times you set the ball over the net, the more points is rewarded for winning the action. Gunsport can be played either solo or with other players.
90 Minute Fever
A MMO football manager that is the debut title from studio Isokron. In contrast to typical games of the genre, such as Football Manager, the game focuses only on duels between the players. The game allows one to create its own club from scratch and then to lead it to conquer the football world by deciding the team's roster and tactics, and managing all the key aspects of the club's activities. The game focuses on interactions between players, both directly, by playing matches, and indirectly, by influencing economy. One of the interesting features is the Time Portal system that allows us to bring real players from the past to join the team. In contrast to other online managers, 90 Minute Fever doesn’t require one to slowly climb the career ladder. From the very beginning it allows experienced players to challenge themselves in other modes. The game lacks any pay-to-win features, but playing requires a monthly subscription.

We can choose from sixteen varied players (both humans and strange mutants), each with unique talents. They can also attack opponents, which more often than not turn out to be more important than scoring with a ball. As if that wasn’t enough to heat up the game, playgrounds themselves are filled with obstacles and traps. Dunk Lords offers story campaign in single player and cooperative variants, as well as multiplayer for up to four people.

Produced by Ukrainian studio Creoteam, a soccer game that combines elements of a virtual team manager with turn-based strategy. In the beginning of the game, you create your own club, and help it win the championship through a series of victories. Matches are played out in turn-based system, in which you give commands to your players, a formula quite unusual for this genre. In each turn you can execute up to 3 actions, and every action takes a number of movement points. Despite its innovativeness, Football Tactics features typical management options as well, requiring you to take care of the club’s budget, personnel, and infrastructure, as well as player recruitment and training. As Football Tactics is an unlicensed product, it features only fictional clubs and players.
