The fifth installment in one of the most popular WWII submarine simulation game series. In Silent Hunter 5 you are sent to the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, where, as the commander of a German U-boat VII, you hunt down the ships of the Allies. There is a dynamic campaign to complete, and your actions, victories and losses affect its outcome. It's worth noting that the campaign also includes historical naval battles.

Silent Hunter III is the third installment in the World War II submarine simulator series. In comparison with the previous game, Ubisoft implemented many changes and improvement in Silent Hunter III, with modern 3D visuals that render the game in a rather realistic way. The game offers us four types of U-boots in ten different development versions. All interiors and onboard devices (we can use all of them) are rendered in 3D with highest attention to detail.

Simulation June 2024 (early access since 30 April 2019)

An open world submarine simulator created in Poland by Deep Water Studio. The game takes place during World War II and the player assumes the role of a captain of a German submarine who completes various missions inspired by historical events. Mechanics of UBOOT combine the features of Silent Hunter and Fallout Shelter and the main task of the player is to take care of the crew. One must consider physical and emotional limitations of his subordinates, assign functions to them etc.

Simulation 2025

The third installment in an iconic series of flight simulators originating from 1992. B-17 Flying Fortress: The Bloody 100th tasks us with operating the titular bomber during World War II, taking out targets and treating injured crew members.

Silent Hunter IV: Wolves of the Pacific studio Ubisoft is another part of a series of marine simulators, collecting very high ratings, both among players and critics. This time, sea wolves, fans of underwater hunting for armored animals, move to the Pacific Ocean.

There are three British planes in the game, which we have to take care of in order to ensure the safety of their pilots, who are taking part in the clashes against the forces of the German Luftwaffe.

Players can sit at the helm of the most famous fighters and bombers of that period. The creators took care to reproduce the details of individual machines, but also to present a realistic representation of air battles.

Another mechanic simulator published by PlayWay – a studio known for publishing such games as Car Mechanic Simulator, Train Mechanic Simulator, and Space Mechanic Simulator. The game has been developed by Degenerals and allows the player to assume the role of an owner of the museum exhibiting tanks from the period of World War II. The gameplay is divided into several stages.

Microprose returns with a simulator of the most famous WWII bomber, allowing us to carry out carpet raids on fascist Germany again. The authors focused on realism by creating an advanced system controlling the physics of flight. The game also has light RPG elements in the form of aircraft crew management.

IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 is another item in the popular series of aircraft simulators, treating the Second World War. This time, developers from Maddox Games, in cooperation with Ubisoft Entertainment corporation, integrated in one product the content from all previous editions of Szturmovik, enriched with new elements.

WWII Battle Tanks: T-34 vs. Tiger is another, after T-72 Balkans on Fire, tank simulation, which was created by programmers and designers from IDDK studio. This time the action takes us back to the times of World War II, when the Soviets after the victorious battle of Kursk set off for Berlin, following the retreating German troops.

Silent Hunter II: WWII U-Boat Combat Simulator is a continuation of the 1996 submarine simulation. The production of the game was taken care of by the Ultimation studio team. Players have the opportunity to take on the role of captain u-bot and take part in the famous battle for the Atlantic from the period of World War II. The creators took care of realistic impressions of commanding a submarine, in which consultations with Admiral Eric Topp were helpful.

A flight combat MMO game by Russian studio Wargaming.net (known from e.g. World of Tanks), utilizing a free-to-play model with microtransactions. In World of Warplanes, you can play as a pilot of a fighter or bomber plane and participate in spectacular aerial battles with dozens of other planes. The game features many military plane models to choose from, representing the so-called golden age of aviation — from pre-WW2 airframes to jets from the Korean War era.

Wolfpack is a cooperative submarine simulator. A group of five players plays the crew of a German submarine during World War II. Each of them has different duties, which he performs manually by manipulating the on-board instruments.

Simulation 2025 (early access since 26 January 2024)

A remake of a 2000 flight sim. B-17 Flying Fortress: The Mighty 8th Redux lets us directly take part in piloting the titular bomber or command it.

A simulation game, in which we command a Gato-type submarine. Silent Depth 2: Pacific is set in the Pacific Ocean, during World War II, tasking the player with patrolling the area and eliminating enemy units.
