The story of Divinity: Dragon Commander presents the fate of a young heir to the throne, who as a dragon knight fights for the survival of the kingdom of Rivellon after the death of his father. The game focuses on three elements: managing the country, giving strategic orders (such as moving subordinate troops on the map) and commanding during battles.

They are now in a ruthless struggle to rule the world. The player chooses one of the factions and tries to tip the scales of victory on their side. The game was created mainly for multiplayer mode, in which up to four participants can take part.
