Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 (PC)
Fighting 28 October 2016
Another installment in the 3D fighting game series by Bandai Namco Entertainment, based on the extremely popular manga by Akira Toriyama. Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 utilizes the same formulas as its predecessor by combining the elements of all the series of the DB anime (Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super), as well as those from the movies. The game features a multitude of familiar characters and an option to create your own custom character; you can choose their gender, appearance and powers. Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 focuses on battles taking place in 3D arenas, during which you use a range of unique attacks and powers derived from the original manga and anime series. The game utilizes the cel-shading technology, just like its first installment, and features the original anime voice actors, but thanks to the capabilities of the new generation devices, the visual and sound layer are much better.
Dragon Ball FighterZ (PC)
Fighting 26 January 2018
Dragon Ball FigtherZ is a 2.5D fighting game developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco where characters from the popular Dragon Ball universe fight each other. Unlike the previous Dragon Ball games, FighterZ uses the Tag Battle mechanics. We create a team of three different characters between which we can switch anytime we want to when fighting. Doing so allows us to execute powerful combos and special attacks. The battle ends when all of our characters have zero health points. Action takes place on 2D arenas, but all of the remaining elements of the game are 3D. It allowed the developers to use advanced graphical effects and stylized animations to make the game look like the classic anime.

Another installment in the best-selling fighting games series set in the universe of the popular manga by Akira Toriyama and anime TV series. This installment of Dragon Ball focuses on presenting the most important and most spectacular duels in the history of the series, with the participation of Son Goku and the main villains: Vegeta, Nappa, Freezer, Cell, and Buu. In order to refresh the formula of the cycle, the creators introduced a new structure of the world, a futuristic city and new, mysterious characters. The graphics of the game employ the cel-shading technology, which gives it a distinctive comic style. Dragon Ball: Xenoverse marks the debut of the series on eighth-generation consoles, which obviously has influenced the visual experience.

An action MMO game with RPG features, developed by NTL Inc. with the support of Akira Toriyama himself, who created the universe of Dragon Ball. This allowed the developers to faithfully recreate not only characters, but also locations from the animated adaption of the original manga. Each has different profession and skills, while the looks can be modified in a complex editor to fit our preferences. Gameplay focuses on exploration, completing both main and side quests, fighting with enemies and developing our hero. The story itself is set 217 years after the events of Dragon Ball, when Earth is governed by an organization known as Dark Eye, under the leadership of Trunks – a mysterious member of Time Patrol. Visuals are one of the strong points of the game, with three-dimensional graphics retaining the style of the famous Japanese manga artist. As of the end of November 2013 – three years after the Dragon Ball Online’s release – the servers went down and the development of the game was halted.
