Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets (3DS)

A two-dimensional arcade-adventure game based on the popular animated series Gravity Falls. The game was created by Ubisoft and Alex Hirsch, the creator of the said cartoon series. The player assumes the roles of two main characters from the original series - an inquisitive boy called Dipper and his eccentric sister by the name of Mabel. Spending their holidays in an American town filled with secrets, the siblings try to help sympathetic gnomes searching for magic amulets that have sustained a neighboring forest. The game is a typical 2D adventure title featuring platformer elements. The player visits different locations from the cartoon, meets characters the fans of the series are familiar with, fights enemies encountered and gathers items required to solve numerous puzzles. The brother and sister have different abilities, but they can also make use of different, fantasy-like gadgets, since they cooperate with gnomes.
Resident Evil: Revelations (3DS)

A survival horror action game initially released exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. Resident Evil: Revelations is a spin-off installment of the Resident Evil series, created and developed by Capcom. The action takes place in 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5. The players have the opportunity to accompany Jill Valentine and Parker Luciani in their search for Chris Redfield and Jessica Sherawa. The trail leads to a ship called Queen Zenobia, the people aboard of which were infected by the t-Virus. Apart from the story campaign, Resident Evil: Revelations also offers the Raid Mode, a set of missions to perform solo or in cooperation with another person.
LEGO Marvel's Avengers (3DS)

Another installment in a bestselling action-adventure game series based on the license of the LEGO bricks. This title is a result of cooperation between the developers from Travellerís Tales and the Marvel company. Once again, players visit the amazing world of comic superheroes. The story is based on the Avengers film (2012) and its sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Therefore, you can play as one of the numerous Marvel characters known from both the graphic novels and films, including Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Loki, and Hawkeye. In terms of gameplay, Lego Marvelís Avengers is not much different from other games in the series, such as LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Gameplay is presented in third-person perspective and it boils down to exploration, solving puzzles, gathering collectibles, and fighting with opponents.

A detective adventure game which is the next full-fledged installment in the Professor Layton series developed by Level 5 for Nintendo portable consoles. Lady Layton: The Millionaire Ariadoneís Conspiracy features a new main protagonist - Hershell Layton was replaced by in this role his daughter, Katrielle. The game takes place in London where Kat is trying to find her missing father. She quickly proves to be an unconventional yet very effective detective. The player spends most of the time in the game on exploration, conversations and solving riddles. However, the mechanics of the game were slightly changed and the gameplay is more focused on typical detective activities. The female protagonist must lead many cases simultaneously and she must help the inhabitants of London in various situations. She is accompanied by a talking dog named Sharo who gives her useful advice.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (3DS)

An action adventure sequel to the 2012 The Amazing Spider-Man. Developed by Beenox Inc, a Canadian studio also responsible for such games featuring the Marvelís superhero as Spider-Man 3: The Game, Spider-Man: Edge of Time and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. The story in the game loosely translates the adventures from the movie directed by Marc Webb into a video game setting. Players, who assume the role of the titular Spider-Man, have to find the assassin who murdered Peter Parkerís uncle - Ben. During the game, the player has to face numerous comic-book villains, including Electro, Kingpin, Black Cat, Green Goblin, and more. The sandbox gameplay mechanics give the players the freedom to explore the virtual version of Manhattan while completing assigned tasks.

A visual novel adventure game developed by studio 5pg. The game is an improved version of the independent game created by Makoto Kedouin and originally released in 1996. Corpse Party takes place in a high school building that was built on the ruins of an old grade school in which a terrible and mysterious crime has occurred. One day, due to unexplainable events, a group of students enters a terrible and grotesque version of their school in which the corridors are filled with decomposing corpses. Trapped in the building, the main characters must face the mysteries of the building and the revenge-seeking ghosts of the dead children. The game uses typical gameplay mechanics of visual novel games, although it also contains exploration and even action sequences. The story has several different endings that depend on the choices made by the player.
Creeping Terror (3DS)

Creeping Terror is a 2D survival horror where we play as Arisa, a Japanese high school student who, together with her friends, ends up in a haunted mansion in order to verify the stories told about it. After entering the residence, the entire group passes out and later wakes up in a sinister cave. Our job is to find a way out and survive. Action in Creeping Terror is presented from a side-scrolling perspective. Gameplay focuses on exploration of grim locations (underground tunnels and the residence itself) and solving more or less complicated riddles. In addition to that, Arisa has to hide from many nightmarish creatures (she can only fight with them on special occasions) and, if needed, simply run away. The 3DS version of the game has quite good visuals, but it cannot be said about its PC release. Nonetheless, the gameís grim atmosphere can be quite enjoyable thanks to the pared-down colours and ominous soundtrack.
Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma (3DS)

An interactive adventure horror game from visual novel genre and a third entry in Zero Escape series, created ChunSoft in cooperation with Aksys Games. It takes place in Martian research facility, ordered to survey reactions of people locked and isolated from the rest of the world. Gameplay doesnít differ much from that of previous parts of the series and presents fans with well-known characters. Numerous puzzles are important part of the game, which we must solve quickly to maintain our heroes lives. Unlike its predecessor though, Zero Escape 3 stands out with more philosophical approach to its theme and focus on moral dilemmas. Depending on playerís actions, he or she will witness one of three alternate endings.
A classic, two-dimensional platformer considered a representative of the metroidvania genre, developed by Lunar Ray Games that was founded by a former employee of Microsoft and Bungie Software. The story of Timespinner is set in the fantasy universe of Ernah, created by the developer in the days of his youth. During the game we play the part a young girl named Lunaris, whose village was destroyed by invaders from another planet. Heroine's mother died during the escape, and she was sucked through a broken portal and transported to another world, where in desperation she vowed revenge on the oppressors. In the course of gameplay we explore subsequent locations, solve simple puzzles and fight enemies; and as we progress, we gain new weapons and gradually improve the abilities of the protagonist. A distinctive feature of the game is the power to manipulate time, by which Lunais can move through different eras, avoid enemies and get into seemingly inaccessible places.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice (3DS)

Another installment in the legal thriller adventure game series by Japanese studio Capcom, created for Nintendo 3DS. As always, the game's protagonist is the reputable lawyer Phoenix Wright, who this time leaves Japan and travels to a fictional country, the dominant religion of which is based on spirit worship. Upon arrival Phoenix gets involved in a series of crimes and has to defend the unfairly accused in court. His first client, a young priest, chooses to accompany his helper on his further adventures and keeps providing him with interesting facts about the local customs. Every case you need to solve has two stages. During the first one you conduct the investigation: examine the crime scene, look for evidence and clues, question the witnesses, etc. The second stage consists of using the gathered information to defend the accused. A new feature is a water mirror in the courtroom, which is used for conjuring up the connections between items, pieces of information, and characters.
Goosebumps: The Game (3DS)

A point-and-click adventure game created by WayForward Technologies - a team known mainly for DuckTales Remastered. Goosebumps: The Game was based on the license of popular books written by R.L. Stine. The player takes on the role of a kid that on their way home from school, discovers that the neighborhood has been taken over by monsters - werewolfs are lurking in the forest nearby, gnomes are running along sidewalks and scarecrows walk the streets at night. The monsters have their origins in books written by said author and the player's goal here is to stop their leader, the so-called Slappy. The gameplay formula was based on exploring various locations, gathering items, talking to other characters and solving puzzles. Goosebumps: The Game does not make any references to the film bearing the same title, the debut of which coincided with the release of the game.
