The second installment in a series of jRPGs enriched with elements typical for visual novels and dungeon crawlers. This time, the player assumes the role of a chosen character (several available) and their goal is to defeat the monsters lurking in the Pandora Labyrinth. The gameplay resembles the formula used in the original game - the player explores randomly generated dungeons, talks to seven female companions (as well as asks them out on dates) and fights the enemies encountered.

On his 16th birthday, he discovers that he is an incarnation of a hero who saved the world from annihilation many years ago. Since then, the youngster’s life takes a radical turn, and his further fate is uncertain.

Fortunately, Chup is not alone — he is accompanied by his friends, Mayone and Pepperon. The game utilizes an isometric view and the gameplay focuses on exploration and collecting various items.

New Edge of Reality studio, known mostly from The Incredible Hulk production, is responsible for the new part of the series. The plot of the game combines threads known from previous Activision games and Michael Bay's film series and focuses on the search for the Black Spark - the title artifact hiding a mysterious power.

An action RPG developed by Square Enix. It is an action-based spin-off of the Final Fantasy series. The player controls a group of explorers who are trying to find all pieces of the Grand Crystal. The gameplay mechanics combine the traits of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and the Monster Hunter series. The game can be played alone or with three friends through an online cooperation mode. The players can choose from twenty characters that vary in looks and profession.

Players direct the actions of the prince suffering from amnesia - Luke, who, together with a mysterious woman named Tear, found himself in the territory of an enemy state. The title uses the capabilities of the three-dimensional display built into the Nintendo 3DS console.

Another installment of the popular series of jRPG games based on books written by Aya Nishitani. The title was produced and released by Japanese studio Atlus. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse takes the player to ruined Tokio of year 2030 in which armies of demons are fighting the angels. The player assumes the role of a warrior who after dying comes back from the afterlife as a servant of deity Dagda. The resurrected warrior can tame demons and force them to fight on his side.

Like in the previous games of the franchise, Monster Hunter Stories focuses on challenging fights against giant monsters, but offers a different approach to the well-known theme. We play as a young boy who sets out on a journey accompanied by the mascot of the series, a Felyne warrior. A one-man-one-cat team travels across a vast open world, performing various tasks and facing local monsters.

Another installment in the bestselling jRPG series which has been in development since the mid-80s. It is the first game in the franchise to be available for PlayStation 2. Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King is set in a well-known fantasy universe. The player controls a party of adventurers who have to stop the evil Dhoulmagus and remove the curse he placed on the king and his daughter. As we progress, the protagonists gain new abilities and items and become stronger.

A 3DS port of Tetsuya Takahashi's jRPG, which was originally released in 2010 for Nintendo Wii. The story is set in dualistic world made of two bodies of gods who fought each other and died in the battle. While one is inhabited by humans, the other is dominated by hostile mechanical beings. The story focuses on a young orphan called Shulk, who, along with his team, is trying to prepare humanity for the incoming enemy.
