A free-to-play two-dimensional platform fighting game from the independent studio Blue Mammoth Games – the creators of a browser MMO game Dungeon Blitz. The production combines elements of 2D fighting games and platformers. Gameplay comes down to engaging in combat on multi-level maps. The fighting system is purely arcade, so what really matters is speed, strength, mastery of combos, and the skillful use of individual abilities of particular characters. The game features dozens of fighters from different epochs and genres – knights, pirates, and even aliens. Each character has a different story and fighting style. Brawhalla features both a single player campaign and multiplayer for up to 8 players. Even though the game utilizes old-school 2D graphics, backgrounds and characters are displayed in high definition.
Stardew Valley (PSV)
The debut production from the independent studio Concerned Ape. It is a sandbox RPG that focuses on the life of a farmer. Stardew Valley takes place in a fantasy realm filled with magic, where the player becomes a young farmer whose ambition is to transform his small field into a giant farm generating great profits. The main task of the player is to plant plants, gather the crops and expand the farm with new infrastructure and agricultural products. In order to be more interesting, the game also feature some RPG elements. One can also take active role in the life of the nearby village – make friendships and interact with the inhabitants of the settlement. This unlocks new challenges and earning opportunities for the player. As the game progress, the protagonist gains experience and learns new skills such as farming, mining, fishing, or animal feeding. One can also get married and have children in this randomly generated world.
Edge of Eternity (PSV)

A third person action-RPG combining the most important aspects of Japanese role-playing games with medieval atmosphere and elements of the steampunk subgenre. The game was created by Midgar - an independent French studio, mainly known for mobile apps. The action takes place in Heryon - a fantasy land whose inhabitants have come under the threat of an alien civilization capable of turning both humans and animals into metal monsters. The player assumes the role of a young farmer by the name of Daryon, who is willing to confront the danger. The story is set in three main locations, including a mercantile town, a citadel controlled by the authorities, and ruins of the old capital city. During the journey, the player encounters randomly generated monsters and mutants. The game offers a turn-based combat system enriched with several modern-day mechanics. For instance, the player can spy on the enemies, checking which one is going to take the next action; one can also combine their spells together for a more powerful effect. The creators paid a great deal of attention to the soundtrack, which was composed by Cedric Menendez and inspired by works of Nobuo Uematsu, Jeremy Soul and Hans Zimmer.

The Long Reach is an unusual adventure with the action set soon after a breakout of an epidemic which turns people into bloodthirsty psychos. During gameplay, you need to figure out the way of neutralising or avoiding enemies. Each of them is a separate riddle with a unique way of defeating.
Darkest Dungeon: The Color of Madness (PSV)
The Color of Madness is an expansion for a turn-based RPG Darkest Dungeon. DLC introduces another type of adventure, in which players face endless waves of enemies while trying to reach their objective and new faction. There are also more trinkets that weren’t seen before.
The Lost Child (PSV)
A dungeon crawler RPG developed by the Japanese Kadokawa Games led by Takayasu Sawaki - the creator of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. The main protagonist of The Lost Child is a journalist who investigates a suicide committed on the Shinjuku station in Tokyo. As it turns out, beings not from this world are involved in the entire mystery, and the main protagonist comes into possession of a weapon called Demon Gun Gangour, which is capable of enslaving the fallen angels. Players observe from the first-person perspective how the main protagonist ventures through vast underground tunnels and fights the demons crawling there. Combat is turn-based and the defeated enemies can be enslaved in order to use their unique traits in the battles to come. Occasionally, a player gets to the surface where he can acquire useful information from NPCs - the interactions have been designed to resemble the form of visual novels. The game features visuals resembling the ones featured in manga series.
Shakedown Hawaii (PSV)
An old-school open-world action game and a sequel to Retro City Rampage developed by Vblank Entertainment. The action of Shakedown Hawaii takes place 30 years after the events presented in its predecessor. The protagonist has grown really old and got himself a large belly. Dramatic events forced him to take up arms once again and to rebuild his crime empire. The gameplay mechanics improve on the ideas from Retro City Rampage and bear a strong resemblance to the first installment of the cult-classic Grand Theft Auto. The action is observed from an aerial view when traversing the open city area on foot or by vehicles. While playing, we perform various primary and secondary quests, using a rich arsenal or firearms, and the gameplay is enriched with elements of economic simulation that lets us manage the protagonist’s business. The game is realized in retro style and features a large dose of absurd and undiscriminating humor.
Pixel Noir (PSV)
An independent retro RPG, which combines the elements of a detective game and a horror. The main protagonist of Pixel Noir is trying to solve a mystery of the tragic events from a decade ago when his partner died and as a result he had to quit working as a police officer, as he unjustly was sentenced to jail. After being released, he begins to work as a private detective and tries to solve minor cases, until finally, he found a lead that might help him get the answers that have been taunting him for years. As befits a true RPG, in Pixel Noir, players get to explore numerous locations, interact with NPCs, find clues, collect valuable items, and fight the enemies. Combat is turn-based, nonetheless, it features certain arcade elements. The main protagonist is accompanied by other characters, each one exhibiting unique skills and utilized weapons. Pixel Noir delivers neutral and grim pixel-art visuals.
The Banner Saga (PSV)
Inspired by the Nordic mythology, a cRPG developed by the independent studio Stoic, whose members worked on, for example, Star Wars: The Old Republic. The action takes us to a world where fratricidal bloodshed between the gods led to chaos and wars. This is an "on the road" type of story, divided into two main plot branches, telling the stories of two Viking parties trying to escape from the threat posed by a mysterious, stone-like race called the Dredge, born as the result of gods’ experiments. Set in fantasy realities, the gameplay combines adventure and RPG elements with a turn-based combat system. With game's progress, your party gains experience and becomes more and more powerful. Also, the decisions you make will exert heavy influence on the plot. The game features amazing 2D graphics, employing art style similar to that of Walt Disney productions.
Persona 5: Dancing Star Night (PSV)

Another entry in the series of action music-rhythm games that utilize the soundtrack from the main entries of the jRPG Persona series developed by Atlus. The gameplay mechanics are based on simple principles and – similarly to other music games – focuses on pressing buttons at right time, when their symbols appear on the screen. Persona 5: Dancing Star Night features a few gameplay modes, including a visual novel story campaign that takes place in Persona 5 universe. The game uses the engine and technology from the fifth main entry in the Persona series. The game features a few dozen of tracks from Persona 5, some of which are remixes created by various artists. The developers also included some completely new songs as a bonus.

Super Robot Wars X is another installment in the tactical jRPG series, popular especially in Japan, in which you control giant robots. You play as characters inspired by various anime series. The production was developed by B.B. Studio.
Arcade June 2018
An original combination of a third-person action game with endless runner mechanics. MechRunner was created by Spark Plug Games - an independent developer. The plot is set in an alternative reality of the 20th century. In 1940s, Russian scientists discovered a wreck of an alien spacecraft and used the technology obtained from the craft to create an incredibly powerful weapon for the KGB. When a power-hungry general decides to use that weapon against Europe, one engineer stands up to him, having constructed their own combat mech. The player controls this machine in the game, destroying everything that comes from the opposite side of the screen - both from the ground and air. When out of combat, the player speeds through the levels, avoiding obstacles and gathering various collectibles that allow for mech upgrades. Interestingly, the machine can transform into a tank at any time, which changes the combat style and armament.
Sir Eatsalot (PSV)

A combination of an adventure and a platform game developed by an independent German studio called Behind The Stone. The game takes a player to a fantasy realm of Gluttington facing a grave danger, as an evil witch known by the name of Hysterice was able to poison the entire land with a bitter lemonade. Luckily, the people of Gluttington can count on the main protagonist, who grabs his sword and sets off on a dangerous quest to once and for all put an end to the witch’s intrigues and occasionally eat some donuts. In Sir Eatsalot, a player observes from the side perspective how the main protagonist traverses thirteen consecutive stages, solves environmental puzzles, and fights multiple enemies. The game delivers pleasing to one’s eye colorful visuals featuring cartoonish style – interestingly enough, solving the puzzles designed by the developers requires a player to utilize the unique features of the Sony console, such as the touchscreen and motion sensors.
City Run London (PSV)

Created by City Quests Games, a third-person stealth action game set in the 16th-century London. You assume the role of “The Moth,” an agent known for her stealth abilities, who is also an ally of the Dominican Brothers. When the government spies reveal the true identity of the heroine, and some of her supporters get imprisoned in the Tower of London, the protagonist must set them free before the sunrise. In City Run London you need to keep a low-profile and sneak behind the guards’ backs, because open combat will most certainly lead to your death. A special radar that shows the range of sight of NPCs will help you avoid detection. The game features attractive, 3D graphics in a vivid, comic book-like style.
YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG (PSV)
YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG is a surrealistic jRPG set in the 1990’s. It was developed by the independent developer Ackk Studios, creators of games like Chromosphere: The Two Brothers and Two Brothers. The story focuses on the mysterious disappearance of Sammy Pak who was taken by supernatural forces while using an elevator. Her friends decide to embark on a dangerous journey to save her. The single player campaign will give us around twenty five hours of gameplay. Our party of eight moves around an isometric-presented map, every once in a while taking part in turn-based battles against our enemies. The game uses Unity Engine. Visuals in YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG are much different from what we can see in other jRPGs as the game lacks any sort of manga-inspired style. All of the game's dialogues are voice acted.
