Action games. Wide category of games that require reflex, accuracy and agility. It includes, among other things, shooters (e.g. Call of Duty and Battlefield series) and action-adventure games (Tomb Raider). First and third person perspective (FPP/TPP) is used. In most cases we are playing as a character who has to defeat some enemies and reach a specific point. We can use a wide range of weapons, including pistols, rocket launchers, swords, knives and like. Action-adventure is a particular category within action games genre. Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is a production of an independent studio Dennaton Games, the developer duo of Jonathan “Cactus” Söderström and Dennis Wedin. The player controls a bandit, who, provided there is a payoff, undertakes a number of risky jobs. Depending on the mission conditions, the hero can be either forced to avoid a direct confrontation, or brutally eliminate all enemies.

The action takes place during the 80s in the titular Miami. The main hero is a muscular ruffian who after receiving mysterious calls recorded on an answering machine commits a series of violent acts. Missions come down to murdering everyone in a given location. The protagonist can execute stealth attacks as well as engage in open combat.
