Farming Simulator 18 (PSV)
Simulation 06 June 2017
Another installment of an annually released farming simulator series developed by GIANTS Software. This time, however, the creators decided to develop a game exclusively for handheld devices like PS Vita or Nintendo 3DS. In terms of mechanics, Farming Simulator 18 highly resembles the previous installments of the series, in particular, the handheld version of Farming Simulator 16. The game sees the players running their farms in an attempt to make a profitable business out of it. To achieve this, players have to take care of a number of things, such as soil and plant cultivation, harvesting and selling the crops, and finally the successive development of the farm. Farming Simulator 18 does not lack the series’ representative feature, namely a wide range of licensed agricultural machinery of the world’s top makes, which are available for the players to utilize while working in the field.
Farming Simulator 16 (PSV)
Simulation 06 October 2015
Another installment of the farming simulation game series from GIANTS software. Contrary to most of the major entries in the franchise, Farming Simulator 16 was created solely with the PS Vita handheld console and mobile devices in mind. In the game, we traditionally assume the role of farm owner, and our task is to turn his possessions into a true agricultural empire. Achieving this requires us to sow and harvest, and then invest the money we’ve earned into the farm’s development as well as new vehicles and devices. The title features over 50 fully licensed agricultural machines of various type that we can personally drive while working in the field. Compared to its predecessor, the game offers new sorts of crops, but the biggest novelty is the introduction of forests, along with a pretty big set of hardware for felling and processing trees.
Organ Trail: Complete Edition (PSV)
Simulation 14 July 2016
A complete edition of an old school simulation game with RPG features. The title takes place in a world filled with zombies and the player's task is to survive. The game is a pastiche of the classic title The Oregon Trail which told the story of a group of settlers colonizing America. During the game, the player controls a group of survivors who travel through the USA in an old car. In order to survive, they must gather food and other useful items like medications and fuel. They must also regularly repair their vehicle. The game also contains fights with undead bosses. In addition to the basic game, Organ Trail: Complete Edition also contains Endless and Final Cut DLCs which expand the game with new features like new enemies, bosses and a cooperation mode. The game features old school, pixel graphics and takes the form of an education show that is teaching young kids how to survive during a zombie apocalypse.
