Another installment in the popular action-adventure game series by Nintendo, and also the first game in the series for WiiU. In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you play once again as the main character of the franchise, Link, who gets involved in yet another exciting and dangerous adventure as he tries to learn what led to the downfall of the land of Hyrule. The gameplay is a combination of several genres: adventure, action RPG, and even survival. During the game, you explore the open world, solve puzzles and fight enemies; the combat is arcade-like and requires you to use varied tactics. You also have to gather resources in order to prepare food and drink, which affect your abilities, just like pieces of equipment.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (WiiU)
Sports 20 November 2015
Another part of the popular sport series from Nintendo, in which we can play tennis posing as one of many characters created by the Japanese company. Among them we will find some long-standing participants, for example, Mario and Peach, but also a lot of heroes new to the Mario Tennis series. The gameplay is purely arcade, although based on the rules of real tennis, and the player's characters controlled are equipped with many unusual skills. It is possible to play both single and double games, either against the AI or other players. Among some noteworthy novelties in Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash appears the technique dubbed Jumpshot, as well as the, unavailable earlier, Mega Battles mode, in which our character will grow after eating a magical mushroom, gaining a major advantage over opponents.

The Girl and the Robot (WiiU)
Adventure 25 March 2017
This is the debut of Flying Carpet Games - members of the studio that formerly co-created many popular mobile games. The game offers a third-person action-adventure experience offering a story about a girl imprisoned in a castle, built using ancient technology, by an evil queen. However, the protagonist manages to cast off the invisible shackles with the help of a multipurpose robot. This is how their adventure begins; in order for the characters to regain their freedom, they will have to face the queen's guards and a massive number of interestingly designed traps. The game makes vivid references to the oldschool classic Ico (PlayStation 2), emphasizing the interactions between the two characters. The girl can reach hardly accessible areas; the robot on the other hand, shines with a sword in its metal hand, eliminating the enemies encountered and removing obstacles standing in their way.
A game which combines first-person online shooter mechanics with elements of sandbox games such as Minecraft. It was developed by the independent studio, Blowfish. The game features unique, pixel art visuals and a single player story campaign which can be completed either by sticking to the storyline or re-shaping it by taking different actions. However, the essence of the gameplay is contained within a few standard multiplayer modes, allowing for both cooperation and rivalry between the players, such as Deathmatch, Point Capture or Capture the Flag. Maps are created by the players themselves, who are capable of shaping the terrain and constructing different buildings. The game features an extensive map editor which allows us to create diversified arenas using many useful tools and share them with others. Interestingly, particular maps can be even modified during multiplayer sessions with other players.
Adventure 25 August 2015
An unusual adventure game by Funkatronic Labs, combining elements of platformer and turn-based strategy productions. The plot of Nova-111 revolves around the effects of an experiment conducted by 111 ingenious scientists from an alternate world, where time flows in turns. The result of their actions is an anomaly that merged both worlds. As a pilot of the research vessel Nova, we have to find and rescue the scientists and to remove the anomaly to separate the dimensions. While playing, we explore two-dimensional levels that resemble those from traditional adventure games. However, most actions ó including movement and combat ó take place in turns. The production features many strategic fights and arcade challenges, but the main emphasis was put on solving puzzles, most of which require us to creatively use the protagonistís special powers. Another key gameplay element is gathering parts that enable us to enhance our ship.
