A science-fiction, sandbox action game with a focus on multiplayer mode. It was created by Hello Games, company known for the colorful arcade production Joe Danger. The game is set in the distant future in the yet uncharted parts of the cosmos, and the gameplay is presented in two forms. We explore the successive corners of the universe piloting a spacecraft, like we do in typical space-sim productions. Upon landing on a newly discovered planet, the game switches to first-person view.

Seventh major installment in the cult series of survival horrors created by Capcom and launched in year 1996 on the PlayStation console. Subsequent parts of this long-standing series concentrate on a battle the humanity wages against a deadly virus which transforms those it infects into bloodthirsty monsters. The players accompany several characters who appeared in various installments of Resident Evil over the years as well as in many side installments.

A third-person action game set in a fantasy world inspired by Celtic mythology. Title was developed by the British studio Ninja Theory, known for Enslaved, Heavenly Sword, and DMC: Devil May Cry. In the game we traverse a dark, mythical world, full of references to popular stories, characters, and monsters born in the imagination of the Celts. Protagonist of the game is a female warrior named Senua, who embarks on a dangerous journey to the land of the dead.

An arcade flight simulator and continuation of the popular series published by Bandai Namco. Like its predecessors, Ace Combat 7 is set in alternative timeline, in which there are different countries, and humans have constructed unique flying units. Game focuses on the story, which we learn both through events during missions and many cutscenes. The gameplay is mostly arcade, with only a few simulation’s features.

A spin-off of the series of fighting games developed by Team Ninja. Only female characters from the main series appear in this game. The mechanics of Dead or Alive: Xtreme 3 are completely different than the ones in the fighting games – it is a compilation of several arcade minigames. Each of these minigames has completely different principles. The player can participate in beach volleyball duels that – despite being based on real rules – are purely action based.

A spin-off to a popular racing game series developed for Sony’s consoles and the first one in the franchise that was tailor-made for PlayStation 4. Developed by Polyphony Digital in cooperation with the FIA organization, Gran Turismo Sport focuses on the titular motor sports, having the player compete for the most prestigious cups and titles just like real race drivers do.

A first-person adventure game focused on exploration. The game was developed by the German team at Crytek (famous for the best-selling Crysis series) and designed to support virtual reality technology. The story is set on an unknown distant planet combining tropical flora with prehistoric fauna embodied by powerful dinosaurs. The surface of the planet is littered with remnants of technologically advanced but now extinct civilization.

Strategy 07 June 2019

Published on PlayStation 4, another installment of the A-Train series by Japanese developer ARTDINK. The production is based on The Train Giant (A-Train 9) for PC, but it can be easily controlled with a DualShock 4, and additionally, it supports PlayStation VR. During the game, you assume the role of a manager of a transportation company. The objective is to build and maintain a network of urban transportation and expand the metropolis.

A spin-off to the well-received horror game Until Dawn. This installment is a typical rail shooter developed with PlayStation VR goggles in mind. During the game player assumes the role of a passenger of an automatically moving cart. One uses the cart to travel through various locations filled with different opponents. As per genre's tradition, the player is tasked with quick and effective elimination of everything that moves.

Simulation canceled

Another unusual simulation game and the debut production by indie studio Sunken Places, developed for VR headgear. In Classroom Aquatic you play as a diver, who is also an exchange student in an underwater dolphin school. As everybody knows, dolphins are highly intelligent, so tests are not much of a problem for them. Not so for you, so in order not to make a fool of yourself, you have to sneakily glance at you classmates' tests and copy the right answers.

An first-person shooter game by American Studio Impulse Gear. The game requires the PlayStation VR headgear and utilizes the PlayStation Move motion controllers, as well as a simplified rifle called PlayStation VR Aim Controller. The game is set in the far future, in which interplanetary flights are a part of daily life. The ship carrying the protagonist crashes on an alien world. It quickly turns out that the planet is inhabited by hostile creatures resembling giant insects.

Wolfenstein Cyberpilot is an action game developed for PCs using virtual reality devices. The player takes on the role of a hacker who helps the Parisian resistance movement to fight the Nazis by breaking into German systems and taking control of their combat robots.

Cult County is a survival horror adventure game in which events are shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The story takes place in a desert town in Texas, where the protagonist finds himself in search of a sister. He finds an atmosphere of fear and distrust caused by sinister cultists, and soon comes to fight for survival. The game combines a dramatic struggle with exploratory elements in locations with a partially open structure.

A post-apocalyptic sandbox FPS developed by a debuting indie studio The Fun Pimps. The game takes you to a near future, when a nuclear war allowed a dangerous virus to spread across the entire world. The virus kills its victims in 7 days, as the title suggests, and turns them into bloodthirsty zombies. You play as one of the few not infected people, fighting for survival in Navezgane County, Arizona. 7 Days to Die allows you to freely explore its open world, adjusting the story to your actions.

An experimental, three-dimensional platformer offering an abstract, alluring game world. Bound is the third project developed by Plastic - a Polish team popular for a dark adventure game Datura and an artistic logic game Linger in Shadows. Similar to these titles, Bound was created exclusively for PlayStation 4 and it was developed in cooperation with Sony Santa Monica (the God of War series).

An arcade action game developed by Joycity for virtual reality goggles. When the fate of the whole world is endangered, all hope lies in the main protagonist of the game, Dylan – a pilot of an experimental combat helicopter. He is trying to reclaim his old life and lost family. During the game the player controls a helicopter and participates in missions, during which they must complete objectives like destroying enemy base, destroying a convoy or fighting enemy air forces.
